Anticipa con gran fidelidad las caracter\u00edsticas t\u00e9cnicas y el aspecto que tendr\u00e1 un <strong>modelo deportivo que BMW comercializar\u00e1 en 2013<\/strong>.<br \/>\nComo en el i8 Concept Coup\u00e9, las puertas del Spyder se abren hac\u00eda arriba. El dise\u00f1o de ambos prototipos es muy parecido. <strong>El Spyder tiene dos plazas y el Coup\u00e9 cuatro<\/strong> (aunque las dos traseras son muy peque\u00f1as).<br \/>\nEl i8 lleva un sistema de <strong>propulsi\u00f3n h\u00edbrida<\/strong> formado por un <strong>motor de gasolina de 223 CV<\/strong> y otro <strong>el\u00e9ctrico de 131 CV<\/strong>, que dan una <strong>potencia m\u00e1xima conjunta de 354 CV<\/strong>.<br \/>\nEl motor el\u00e9ctrico se alimenta de la energ\u00eda almacenada en una bater\u00eda, que <strong>se carga conectando el i8 a la red el\u00e9ctrica convencional <\/strong>(y tambi\u00e9n recuperando parte de la energ\u00eda que se pierde al frenar). La autonom\u00eda, circulando \u00fanicamente con el motor el\u00e9ctrico, es de<strong> 30 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong>.<br \/>\nLas prestaciones del i8, en cualquiera de las dos variantes de carrocer\u00eda, son de <strong>aut\u00e9ntico deportivo<\/strong>: acelera de 0 a 100 km\/h en unos 5 segundos y tiene una velocidad m\u00e1xima limitada a 250 km\/h.
