Aunque se denominen Clase E, comparten muchos elementos mec\u00e1nicos y de la estructura con la Clase C de Mercedes-Benz. El Coup\u00e9 est\u00e1 en venta <strong>desde 42.750 Euros<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/precios\/buscar?estado=1&amp;array_marcas=Mercedes-Benz&amp;modelo=Clase%20E&amp;puertas=2&amp;carroceria=coupe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">todos los precios<\/a>) y el Cabrio desde 47.600 Euros (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/precios\/buscar?estado=1&amp;array_marcas=Mercedes-Benz&amp;modelo=Clase%20E&amp;puertas=2&amp;carroceria=descapotable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">todos los precios<\/a>).<br \/>\nDesde mayo de 2011, hay <strong>cambios en la gama de motores con nuevas unidades de gasolina y Diesel<\/strong> con las que estos modelos consumen menos.<br \/>\nLa gama queda formada por cinco versiones de gasolina y tres Diesel, todas con tracci\u00f3n trasera. Al menos de momento, a diferencia de los Clase E Berlina y Estate, no hay versiones con tracci\u00f3n total de los Cabrio y Coup\u00e9 ni versiones AMG.<br \/>\nLas de gasolina son E 200 BE (184 CV), E 250 BE (204 CV), <strong>E 300 BE (252 CV)<\/strong>, <strong>E 350 BE (306 CV)<\/strong> y E 500 (388 CV). Las tres Diesel son E 220 CDI BE (170 CV), E 250 CDI BE (204 CV) y <strong>E 350 CDI BE (265 CV)<\/strong>. En negrita aparecen las nuevas versiones.<br \/>\nComo el SLK, el Cabrio tiene el dispositivo \u00abAirscarf\u00bb, es decir, unas salidas de aire caliente a la altura de la nuca de los ocupantes delanteros.<br \/>\nRespeto al Coup\u00e9, el Cabrio pesa 60 kg m\u00e1s y tiene un coeficiente de resistencia aerodin\u00e1mico peor (pasa de 0,24 Cx a 0,28 Cx).<br \/>\nEl nuevo Clase E tiene un <strong>cap\u00f3 elevable<\/strong>, para atenuar las posibles lesiones en caso de atropello a un peat\u00f3n.
