As\u00ed es el eClassic e-Story, la r\u00e9plica el\u00e9ctrica del m\u00edtico coche de playa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hubo una \u00e9poca en la que, en pleno boom del turismo, los fabricantes europeos decidieron apostar por un concepto que a d\u00eda de hoy pr\u00e1cticamente ha desaparecido: <strong>los veh\u00edculos playeros<\/strong>. Entre los a\u00f1os 50 y 80 del siglo pasado, modelos como el&nbsp;FIAT 500 Jolly, el Mini Moke, el Volkswagen Type 181 o la serie Renault Rodeo proliferaron en las costas del Mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De todos ellos, el m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1tico fue sin lugar a dudas el Citro\u00ebn Mehari (1968-1987). Este simp\u00e1tico modelo <strong>se basaba en el Dyane 6<\/strong> (que a su vez derivaba del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/citroen-2cv-electrico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ic\u00f3nico 2CV<\/a>), combinando su chasis y mec\u00e1nica con una carrocer\u00eda fabricada en pl\u00e1stico ABS.&nbsp;F\u00e1cil de limpiar y resistente a los golpes, los ara\u00f1azos y el ambiente marino (sol, agua, salitre&#8230;), r\u00e1pidamente gan\u00f3 gran popularidad en las zonas de veraneo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_mehari_61-1024x683.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-70730\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_mehari_61-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_mehari_61-980x653.jpeg 980w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_mehari_61-480x320.jpeg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten\u00eda un motor de dos cilindros b\u00f3xer refrigerado por aire. Sus 602 cent\u00edmetros c\u00fabicos le otorgaban una exigua potencia de hasta 29 CV\u00a0DIN; sin embargo, sus 570 kg de peso le permit\u00edan desenvolverse con soltura&#8230; y sobre todo, <strong>evitar quedarse atrapado en la arena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consciente de la enorme popularidad de este modelo, que todav\u00eda es relativamente f\u00e1cil de ver en el litoral espa\u00f1ol y franc\u00e9s, a finales de 2015 Citro\u00ebn lanz\u00f3 el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/citroen\/e-mehari\/2016\/estandar\/informacion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">E-Mehari<\/a>, una reinterpretaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica <strong>basada en el&nbsp;Bollor\u00e9 Bluesummer<\/strong>. Se trataba de un veh\u00edculo de nuevo desarrollo con una est\u00e9tica inspirada en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/citroen\/c4-cactus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">C4 Cactus<\/a>. Combinaba un motor el\u00e9ctrico de 68 CV con una bater\u00eda de litio-metal-pol\u00edmero con 30 kWh de capacidad, la cual le otorgaba una autonom\u00eda de 195 km NEDC. Su discreto rendimiento comercial llev\u00f3 a que su producci\u00f3n se discontinuara en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_e-mehari_25-1-1024x683.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-70731\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_e-mehari_25-1-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_e-mehari_25-1-980x653.jpeg 980w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/citroen_e-mehari_25-1-480x320.jpeg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lo que muchos no saben es que existe otro Mehari el\u00e9ctrico que, al contrario que el E-Mehari, todav\u00eda se comercializa. <strong>Estamos hablando del e-Story<\/strong>, una r\u00e9plica fabricada por la compa\u00f1\u00eda francesa eClassic Cars. Antes conocida como MLT Automotive (Mehari Loisirs Technologie), esta empresa naci\u00f3 como <em>spin-off<\/em> de Mehari Loisirs, especializada desde 1989 en la restauraci\u00f3n del Citro\u00ebn 2CV y sus derivados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero, \u00bfc\u00f3mo es posible que se pueda fabricar hoy en d\u00eda una r\u00e9plica del Mehari original?&nbsp;Encontrar piezas no es un problema: los 2CV y Mehari dejaron de producirse bastante tarde (1990 y 1987 respectivamente), y una vez pasado el periodo en el que por ley ten\u00eda que seguir fabricando repuestos para ambos, la marca <strong>vendi\u00f3 el utillaje a otras empresas <\/strong>que todav\u00eda hacen carrocer\u00edas completas, chasis, mec\u00e1nicas, sistemas el\u00e9ctricos, interiores, capotas&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/0170-scaled-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-70732\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/0170-scaled-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/0170-scaled-1-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/0170-scaled-1-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un coche el\u00e9ctrico con el encanto de un cl\u00e1sico<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En la pr\u00e1ctica, actualmente es posible construir un 2CV&nbsp;o un Mehari a partir de piezas de nueva fabricaci\u00f3n, \u00a1todo un alivio para los due\u00f1os de unidades cl\u00e1sicas! Esto tambi\u00e9n <strong>posibilita la creaci\u00f3n de r\u00e9plicas<\/strong> como la que hoy nos ocupa, que est\u00e1 homologada no como turismo (M1), sino como cuadriciclo pesado (L7e), por lo que se puede conducir desde los 16 a\u00f1os con el carnet B1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No estamos hablando de un <em>restomod<\/em>, sino de <strong>un modelo completamente nuevo<\/strong>. Asentado sobre un chasis de aluminio, el e-Story dispone de versiones de dos y cuatro plazas;&nbsp;adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n existe una variante con tracci\u00f3n a las cuatro ruedas. Disfruta de algunos equipamientos modernos como faros de ledes o direcci\u00f3n asistida. Adem\u00e1s, se ofrecen numerosas opciones de personalizaci\u00f3n, incluyendo molduras en madera y un paquete de invierno con parabrisas y asientos delanteros calefactados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Mehari-electrique-voiture-de-plage-scaled-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-70733\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Mehari-electrique-voiture-de-plage-scaled-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Mehari-electrique-voiture-de-plage-scaled-1-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Mehari-electrique-voiture-de-plage-scaled-1-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su motor desarrolla 15 CV y se puede asociar a dos bater\u00edas de tipo LFP&nbsp;(litio-ferrofosfato), una de 15 kWh que le proporciona una autonom\u00eda de <strong>187 km WMTC<\/strong>, y otra de 25 kWh con la que llega a los <strong>315 km&nbsp;WMTC<\/strong>. Su velocidad punta se sit\u00faa en 80 km\/h; en cuanto a la carga, se ofrece un cargador de 1,5 kW&nbsp;(20-100% en 10 horas) u otro de 4 kW en opci\u00f3n (20-100% en 3 horas y 42 minutos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mide 3,60 metros de longitud, 1,50 metros de anchura y 1,63 metros de altura. Su peso en vac\u00edo es de 576 kg con la bater\u00eda de 15 kWh y de 632 kg con la de 25 kWh. El modelo 4&#215;4 <strong>a\u00f1ade un segundo motor<\/strong> para una potencia combinada de 20 CV. Llega a los 90 km\/h, con un peso de 611 kg para la versi\u00f3n de 15 kWh y de 667 kg para la de 25 kWh.
