Sin embargo, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/honda\/prelude\/2026\/estandar\/informacion\">nuevo modelo electrificado<\/a>, el verdadero legado del Prelude se construy\u00f3 durante m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas en las que <strong>este coup\u00e9 sirvi\u00f3 como banco de pruebas para algunas de las tecnolog\u00edas m\u00e1s avanzadas de la marca japonesa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cinco generaciones que definieron la personalidad del Prelude<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>primera generaci\u00f3n<\/strong> <strong>apareci\u00f3 en 1978 como una alternativa m\u00e1s deportiva y sofisticada al Accord.<\/strong> Con una carrocer\u00eda coup\u00e9 de dos puertas y una orientaci\u00f3n claramente dirigida al conductor, el Prelude ayud\u00f3 a reforzar la imagen tecnol\u00f3gica de Honda en mercados como Jap\u00f3n, Europa y Norteam\u00e9rica. Fue el primer Honda con techo solar (de chapa, no vidrio) de serie y contaba con direcci\u00f3n asistida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>segunda generaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, lanzada en <strong>1982<\/strong>, consolid\u00f3 esa filosof\u00eda. Su dise\u00f1o m\u00e1s afilado \u2014con faros escamoteables\u2014y una puesta a punto m\u00e1s refinada permitieron al Prelude competir con algunos de los coup\u00e9s m\u00e1s populares de la \u00e9poca. Supuso tambi\u00e9n la desaparici\u00f3n de los cromados. Fue entonces cuando Honda estren\u00f3 el sistema mec\u00e1nico de direcci\u00f3n a las cuatro ruedas (4WS)<\/strong>, una tecnolog\u00eda pionera que permit\u00eda girar tambi\u00e9n las ruedas traseras para mejorar la maniobrabilidad y la estabilidad. En aquel momento supuso una de las innovaciones m\u00e1s avanzadas de la industria automovil\u00edstica. Tambi\u00e9n estren\u00f3 en la suspensi\u00f3n por doble tri\u00e1ngulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <strong>cuarta generaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, presentada en <strong>1991<\/strong>, apost\u00f3 por un dise\u00f1o m\u00e1s aerodin\u00e1mico y una mayor sofisticaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica. La direcci\u00f3n a las cuatro ruedas pas\u00f3 de ser un sistema exclusivamente mec\u00e1nico a estar controlado electr\u00f3nicamente, al igual que la direcci\u00f3n, cuya asistencia dej\u00f3 de ser hidr\u00e1ulica. El sistema de distribuci\u00f3n variable de <strong>Honda, V-TEC<\/strong>, hizo su aparici\u00f3n. Con este Prelude, Honda dijo adi\u00f3s a los faros escamoteables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finalmente, la <strong>quinta generaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de <strong>1996 <\/strong>llev\u00f3 esa filosof\u00eda un paso m\u00e1s all\u00e1. <strong>Incorpor\u00f3 el sistema Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS),<\/strong> capaz de gestionar electr\u00f3nicamente el reparto de par entre las ruedas delanteras para mejorar la eficacia en conducci\u00f3n deportiva.
