La clave est\u00e1 en c\u00f3mo se reparte el trabajo entre ambos. En el caso de BYD, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byd.com\/es-es\/tecnologia\/dmi-hibrida-enchufable?cid=Organic|OrganicTraffic|SEOBrandedContent|TecnologiaDMI&amp;utm_source=Organic&amp;utm_medium=OrganicTraffic&amp;utm_campaign=Km77&amp;utm_content=TecnologiaDMI&amp;mktcode=ESA34012381\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tecnolog\u00eda DM-i<\/a> est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para que el coche funcione la mayor parte del tiempo como un el\u00e9ctrico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es decir, el motor el\u00e9ctrico no se ha implementado como un complemento del t\u00e9rmico, sino lo contrario: la electricidad es la protagonista. En lugar de impulsar directamente las ruedas en la mayor\u00eda de las situaciones, el motor de gasolina Xiaoyun act\u00faa principalmente como generador de energ\u00eda. Solo interviene de forma directa cuando se requiere la m\u00e1xima potencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto tiene varias ventajas. Por ejemplo, la inmediatez de respuesta \u2014la aceleraci\u00f3n es instant\u00e1nea\u2014, una conducci\u00f3n m\u00e1s suave \u2014la potencia va directamente del motor a las ruedas sin pasar por un cambio de marchas\u2014 y tambi\u00e9n m\u00e1s silenciosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona el sistema Dual Mode?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El sistema DM-i utiliza una arquitectura denominada Dual Mode, que permite el funcionamiento en serie o en paralelo de los dos motores. La diferencia respecto a otros h\u00edbridos est\u00e1 en que ambos modos priorizan el uso el\u00e9ctrico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Modo EV (el\u00e9ctrico):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Las ruedas son impulsadas \u00fanicamente por el motor el\u00e9ctrico.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Funcionamiento silencioso y sin vibraciones del motor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bajo coste de uso (la electricidad es m\u00e1s barata que el combustible).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cero emisiones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Modo HEV (h\u00edbrido):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El motor t\u00e9rmico act\u00faa como generador de energ\u00eda (alimenta la bater\u00eda y el motor el\u00e9ctrico a trav\u00e9s de un inversor). Este funcionamiento se denomina en serie.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solo en situaciones de alta demanda \u2014aceleraciones fuertes, como durante un adelantamiento, o a velocidades elevadas\u2014, el sistema DM-i combina ambos motores. No hay que preocuparse por quedarse sin bater\u00eda, eso no ocurre porque el motor de gasolina act\u00faa como respaldo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el caso del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byd.com\/es-es\/coches-hibridos\/seal-6-dm-i?cid=Organic|OrganicTraffic|SEOBrandedContent|SEAL6&amp;utm_source=Organic&amp;utm_medium=OrganicTraffic&amp;utm_campaign=Km77&amp;utm_content=SEAL6&amp;mktcode=ESA34012381\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BYD Seal 6 DM-i<\/a> \u2014un modelo disponible con carrocer\u00eda berlina o familiar\u2014, los datos de autonom\u00eda son los siguientes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Autonom\u00eda total combinada WLTP<\/strong>: 1455 km<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Autonom\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica urbana WLTP<\/strong>: 140 km<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Autonom\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica combinada WLTP<\/strong>: 105 km<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas cifras dejan claro que la autonom\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica es m\u00e1s que suficiente para ir a trabajar, hacer la compra y otros desplazamientos habituales en ciudad. As\u00ed garantiza unas prestaciones m\u00e1s que suficientes sin necesidad de emplear gasolina. El resultado es un consumo homologado WLTP de 1,2 l\/100 km en el Seal U DM-i frente a los 2,6 l\/100 km del Q5, aunque, como en cualquier h\u00edbrido enchufable, su eficiencia depende en gran medida del uso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 experiencia tiene BYD en h\u00edbridos enchufables?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BYD no es un fabricante reci\u00e9n llegado a la electrificaci\u00f3n.
