Entre ellos, el <strong>modo ECO<\/strong> es el elegido para intentar reducir el gasto de combustible en el d\u00eda a d\u00eda. Sin embargo, bajo la promesa de una mayor eficiencia, este programa altera la respuesta del motor para mantenerlo, por lo general, <strong>a muy bajas revoluciones<\/strong>. Una gesti\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica que, si se combina con un estilo de conducci\u00f3n perezoso o un uso exclusivamente urbano, puede favorecer la acumulaci\u00f3n de carbonilla y la saturaci\u00f3n de los sistemas anticontaminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu\u00e9 hace el modo ECO<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El modo ECO es una&nbsp;<strong>reprogramaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica temporal<\/strong>. Act\u00faa principalmente en tres frentes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Suaviza la respuesta del acelerador (requiriendo m\u00e1s recorrido del pedal para obtener la misma potencia).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adelanta el paso a marchas superiores en cajas autom\u00e1ticas para mantener el motor a reg\u00edmenes m\u00ednimos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Limita el consumo de perif\u00e9ricos como el compresor del aire acondicionado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El verdadero origen del problema: conducir a muy bajo r\u00e9gimen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El riesgo mec\u00e1nico aparece cuando el motor funciona a muy bajo r\u00e9gimen y se circula casi de forma exclusiva en ciudad. Al rodar de forma constante a muy bajas revoluciones (a menudo por debajo de las 1.500 rpm), la combusti\u00f3n en los cilindros es menos en\u00e9rgica y se genera una <strong>mayor cantidad de residuos s\u00f3lidos<\/strong> y holl\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EGR y filtro de part\u00edculas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Piezas clave y costosas como la v\u00e1lvula EGR o el filtro de part\u00edculas necesitan alcanzar altas temperaturas durante un tiempo para quemar los residuos y realizar sus ciclos de regeneraci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica. Su terreno ideal son las circunvalaciones, v\u00edas r\u00e1pidas o autopistas donde mantenemos una <strong>velocidad de crucero constante<\/strong> sin exigir fuertes aceleraciones. Por el contrario, a la hora de callejear, incorporarnos a una autov\u00eda o subir un puerto de monta\u00f1a, lo m\u00e1s saludable para la mec\u00e1nica podr\u00eda ser <strong>volver al modo Normal<\/strong>.
