Funciona con gasolina, tiene tres cilindros y <strong>distribuci\u00f3n gobernada por cadena<\/strong>. El primer modelo en utilizarlo es el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/peugeot\/208\/2024\/estandar\/informacion\">Peugeot 208<\/a><\/strong>; en mayo llegar\u00e1 al <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/peugeot\/2008\/2023\/estandar\/informacion\">Peugeot 2008<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Turbo 100 <strong>es un PureTech Gen 3<\/strong> (introducido en 2023), es decir, un PureTech que utiliza cadena en vez de correa. Peugeot lo dice claramente en la nota de prensa: se trata de un motor de \u00abtercera generaci\u00f3n\u00bb. Por lo tanto, de nuevo realmente tiene poco. De hecho, en la nota de prensa, Peugeot emplea afirmaciones que Stellantis utiliz\u00f3 en su momento para describir los PureTech Gen 3. Por ejemplo: \u00ab<strong>las piezas nuevas representan un 70 % del valor econ\u00f3mico del motor<\/strong>. Componentes como el turbocompresor, el sistema de inyecci\u00f3n, los pistones y el bloque son diferentes\u00bb. Incluso la ilustraci\u00f3n del motor Turbo 100 es la misma del PureTech Gen 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PEUGEOT_MHEV_2023_001_FR.jpg\" alt=\"Motor Turbo 100 Peugeot\" class=\"wp-image-68170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PEUGEOT_MHEV_2023_001_FR.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PEUGEOT_MHEV_2023_001_FR-480x270.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 800px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En definitiva, estamos ante <strong>un cambio de nombre<\/strong> con el objetivo de borrar la nefasta reputaci\u00f3n de esta familia de motores y <strong>recuperar la confianza de los clientes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este motor de gasolina de<strong> tres cilindros y 1199 cm\u00b3<\/strong> de cilindrada funciona con ciclo Millar y produce <strong>101 CV a 5500 rpm y 205 Nm a 1750 rpm<\/strong>. Son exactamente los mismos valores que el Puretech Gen 3. Tiene un turbocompresor de <strong>geometr\u00eda variable<\/strong> que ayuda a mejorar la respuesta a bajas revoluciones y una bomba de inyecci\u00f3n de gasolina que <strong>funciona a 350 bares<\/strong>. La distribuci\u00f3n est\u00e1 accionada por<strong> cadena ba\u00f1ada en aceite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peugeot asegura que ha realizado m\u00e1s de 30 000 horas de pruebas en banco de laboratorio, reproduciendo todo tipo de condiciones de conducci\u00f3n.
