El\u00a0cubrec\u00e1rter\u00a0es, en esencia, una pieza <strong>situada bajo el motor<\/strong> que cumple diferentes funciones dependiendo del uso que se vaya a dar al veh\u00edculo y del material en que est\u00e9 construido. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hist\u00f3ricamente, el cubrec\u00e1rter era una plancha resistente reservada a veh\u00edculos todoterreno o de uso industrial y que serv\u00eda (y sirve) para proteger los elementos mec\u00e1nicos, especialmente el c\u00e1rter de aceite.
