Porque de esa manera puede instalar sistemas de ayuda a la conducci\u00f3n <strong>(ADAS) m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micos<\/strong>. Objetivo \u00faltimo: <strong>reducir los costes y el precio de venta<\/strong>. \u00abDemos un paso atr\u00e1s y dejemos de sobrecargar los coches con equipos costosos\u00bb ha dicho el bueno de Fran\u00e7ois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abCon <strong>gusto limitar\u00eda mis coches urbanos<\/strong> a lo que actualmente es el l\u00edmite m\u00e1ximo legal de velocidad en Europa, que es de <strong>118 km\/h<\/strong> en promedio. No tiene sentido que tenga que <strong>sobredimensionar mis veh\u00edculos<\/strong> para superar el l\u00edmite de velocidad legal\u00bb. Es absurdo instalar este tipo de equipos tan caros en coches que se conducen principalmente en ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto <strong>no supone deshacerse de sistemas como la frenada autom\u00e1tica de emergencia<\/strong>, la alerta por exceso de velocidad, el detector de fatiga, los sensores de presi\u00f3n de neum\u00e1ticos o la alerta por abandono involuntario de carril. <strong>No porque no quiera, sino porque todos ellos son obligatorios<\/strong>. Pero lo que s\u00ed se puede hacer es utilizar <strong>sistemas m\u00e1s simples<\/strong> por no tener que actuar a velocidades superiores a 120 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por ejemplo, se puede reemplazar el programador de velocidad activo del Fiat 500 por un programador de velocidad pasivo y <strong>te ahorras un radar de largo alcance<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n puedes simplificar la alerta por abandono de carril, que como este trabajar\u00e1 por debajo de 120 km\/h, <strong>no necesitar\u00e1 ser tan avanzado y preciso<\/strong> como uno preparado para intervenir a 180 km\/h. Otra fuente de ahorro puede venir de <strong>simplificar la fusi\u00f3n de datos<\/strong> de los diferentes sensores, utilizando para ello <strong>procesadores menos potentes<\/strong> y baratos. Un 500e de 95 CV, por ejemplo, no pasa de 135 km\/h. Mientras que un <strong>Grande Panda el\u00e9ctrico de 113 CV est\u00e1 limitado a 132 km\/h<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La estrategia de simplificar algunos ADAS para reducir costes no es nada nuevo. Un <strong>ejemplo reciente de ello lo llev\u00f3 a cabo Dacia<\/strong>. El sistema de frenado de emergencia del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/dacia\/spring\/2021\/estandar\/informacion\">Dacia Spring modelo-a\u00f1o 2021<\/a> <strong>utilizaba un radar<\/strong>. En el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/dacia\/spring\/2024\/estandar\/informacion\">Spring 2024<\/a> el radar desapareci\u00f3 y <strong>su funci\u00f3n la realiza actualmente una c\u00e1mara<\/strong> colocada en lo alto del parabrisas (que tambi\u00e9n se utiliza para la funci\u00f3n de advertencia por abandono de carril).<strong> Otro caso es el de Tesla<\/strong>, que decidi\u00f3 prescindir de los sensores de ultrasonido para calcular la distancia con los objetos de alrededor durante las maniobras de aparcamiento y delegar esa funci\u00f3n en las c\u00e1maras. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y en lo que respecta a limitar la velocidad de sus coches, tampoco es algo original.
