Martin Smith, Director Ejecutivo de Dise\u00f1o para Ford Europa, Asia Pac\u00edfico y \u00c1frica, con el que he tenido la fortuna de cenar la noche previa a que se desvele el Ford Evos (fortuna propiciada por Ford), me ha contado que el Kinetic Design requiere de un nuevo desarrollo para ser global. \u00abNecesitamos una segunda generaci\u00f3n del Kinetic Design, porque nuestro primer Kinetic Design se hizo pensando en Europa. Pero necesitamos pensar m\u00e1s alla de estas fronteras, necesitamos abrirnos a un dise\u00f1o global. Eso es lo que presentamos ma\u00f1ana con el Ford Evos. El Evos no es s\u00f3lo una indicaci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o que vamos a tener en los pr\u00f3ximos cuatro a\u00f1os. El primer ejemplo real lo tendremos dentro de seis meses. Kinetic Design\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ford.es\/Turismos\/KineticDesign\">web de Ford Espa\u00f1a podemos encontrar este p\u00e1rrafo<\/a>: \u00abEn 2004 se le encarg\u00f3 a Martin Smith, Director Ejecutivo de Dise\u00f1o para Ford of Europe, la tarea de crear un nuevo lenguaje de dise\u00f1o para Ford. Este fue un momento determinante en la historia reciente de Ford, que tuvo como resultado una nueva filosof\u00eda de dise\u00f1o para la empresa: el Kinetic Design de Ford hab\u00eda llegado para quedarse.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>A partir de hoy, siete a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de esos primeros pasos, Ford se plantea el reto de cambiar ese dise\u00f1o. Martin Smith me dec\u00eda: \u00abHay algunos coches que son mitos, como el Ford Mustang, el Mini, el Porsche 911&#8230; Para los fabricantes es un reto cambiar estos coches, porque los clientes \u00a0que piden es \u00abno cambies mi coche, no lo destroces\u00bb. Nosotros tenemos ese reto para buscar un sustituto del Fiesta o del Kuga, por ejemplo. Tenemos que dise\u00f1ar para un cliente global una nueva forma de coches que han vendido cerca de mill\u00f3n y medio de unidades.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEl Ford Evos es nuestra propuesta. Es una evoluci\u00f3n del Iosis, con una renovaci\u00f3n del lenguaje de dise\u00f1o, que resulte identificable, aspiracional y premium para nuestros clientes.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Hablar con Martin Smith es un placer enorme. Tiene una idea del dise\u00f1o del autom\u00f3vil totalmente alejada de los dise\u00f1adores estrella. Le he preguntado si \u00e9l era el que hab\u00eda dise\u00f1ado el Evos y me ha mirado con cara de incredulidad: \u00abEso es imposible. Nosotros somos un equipo\u00bb me ha dicho.
