Su objetivo es reducir las maniobras indebidas en los accesos de las autov\u00edas y reforzar la seguridad en unos puntos donde las imprudencias suelen tener consecuencias graves. La DGT lleva experimentando con esta tecnolog\u00eda <strong>desde mediados de 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente existen cuatro c\u00e1maras de este tipo en Madrid. La primera se encuentra en el <strong>kil\u00f3metro 15,9 de la A-1<\/strong>, a la altura de Alcobendas, en sentido decreciente. La segunda est\u00e1 en el <strong>kil\u00f3metro<\/strong> <strong>11,8 de la A-2<\/strong>, cerca del Aeropuerto de Barajas, tambi\u00e9n en sentido decreciente. La tercera c\u00e1mara se sit\u00faa en el <strong>kil\u00f3metro 16,9 de la A-42<\/strong>, tras superar Getafe, y la cuarta en el <strong>kil\u00f3metro 20,2 de la A-6<\/strong>, en Las Rozas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u00f3mo funcionan estas c\u00e1maras<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El sistema utiliza <strong>dos c\u00e1maras colocadas a decenas de metros de distancia<\/strong> en los carriles de acceso a la v\u00eda principal. La primera c\u00e1mara registra la matr\u00edcula del veh\u00edculo al inicio del carril, y la segunda lo hace unos metros m\u00e1s adelante. Esto permite verificar si el conductor ha respetado la l\u00ednea continua durante la incorporaci\u00f3n. Si el veh\u00edculo ha invadido la l\u00ednea continua, el sistema detecta la infracci\u00f3n, de forma similar a un radar de tramo que mide el recorrido entre dos puntos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo no es sancionar por pisar la l\u00ednea de forma involuntaria, sino <strong>controlar las maniobras<\/strong> que suponen un riesgo, como tratar de adelantar en tramos donde est\u00e1 prohibido. Foto: Freepik<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas c\u00e1maras forman parte de un conjunto m\u00e1s amplio de <strong>sistemas de vigilancia de la DGT<\/strong>, que tambi\u00e9n incluye controles de cintur\u00f3n de seguridad, respeto a las se\u00f1ales de stop y una atenci\u00f3n m\u00e1s intensa a los l\u00edmites de velocidad. Para el resto de a\u00f1o, <strong>se espera la instalaci\u00f3n de 122 nuevos radares fijos o de tramo <\/strong>destinados a controlar la velocidad en las carreteras espa\u00f1olas.<br><br>Los datos de la DGT reflejan que la mayor\u00eda de los siniestros viales, <strong>un 65 %, ocurren en entornos urbanos<\/strong>, con 66 545 accidentes en 2024. En ese mismo a\u00f1o, los<strong> fallecimientos en zona urbana fueron 488<\/strong>, con una disminuci\u00f3n del 6 % respecto al a\u00f1o anterior, mientras que los heridos graves aumentaron un 3 %, con 5043 hospitalizados. Estos datos muestran la importancia de mantener el cumplimiento de las normas, especialmente en maniobras de incorporaci\u00f3n a v\u00edas principales y tramos de alta densidad de tr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas nuevas c\u00e1maras tienen como objetivo <strong>reforzar la seguridad vial<\/strong> en los tramos donde las maniobras indebidas y de riesgo son m\u00e1s frecuentes y, por tanto, m\u00e1s peligrosas. Con la instalaci\u00f3n de este sistema, la DGT pretende reducir al m\u00e1ximo aquellas situaciones de riesgo derivadas de incorporaciones incorrectas o <strong>adelantamientos en zonas prohibidas.<\/strong><br><br>La recomendaci\u00f3n para los conductores es sencilla pero esencial: <strong>respetar siempre las l\u00edneas continuas<\/strong> y realizar las incorporaciones de manera segura y ordenada.
