Tras el par\u00f3n de producci\u00f3n y ventas durante la pandemia de la COVID, llegaron los problemas log\u00edsticos (escasez de chips y dificultades en el transporte) seguidos de La <strong>electrificaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y el desembarco de las <strong>marcas chinas<\/strong>.<br><br>A Espa\u00f1a esto nos afecta directamente, somos en noveno pa\u00eds en n\u00famero de autom\u00f3viles fabricados con unos 2,4 millones en 2024. En Europa solo nos aventaja Alemania. <strong>En nuestro pa\u00eds se fabrican<\/strong>, a fecha de hoy, modelos del Grupo Volkswagen, de Ford, de Mercedes-Benz, de Renault (y Mitsubishi) y de Stellantis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"extendedwopts-md-center wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Marca<\/th><th>Localizaci\u00f3n<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Grupo Volkswagen<\/td><td>Martorell (Barcelona) y Pamplona<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Ford<\/td><td>Almussafes (Valencia)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Mercedes-Benz<\/td><td>Vitoria<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Renault <\/td><td>Palencia y Valladolid<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Stellantis<\/td><td>Madrid, Vigo y Figueruelas (Zaragoza)<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Donde dije digo, digo Diego<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>electrificaci\u00f3n forzosa<\/strong> no avanza al ritmo planeado por los pol\u00edticos. Las causas son varias. Esto ha obligado a las <strong>marcas europeas<\/strong> a replantear sus inversiones.<br><br>\u00abNunca habr\u00e1 un <strong>Fiat 500<\/strong> de combusti\u00f3n con esta plataforma\u00bb. <strong>Fiat<\/strong> estaba convencida de que as\u00ed ser\u00eda cuando lanz\u00f3 el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/fiat\/500\/2021\/3-puertas\/informacion\">500e en 2020<\/a>. Actualmente est\u00e1 fabricando una versi\u00f3n con <strong>hibridaci\u00f3n<\/strong>. El caso de <strong>Fiat<\/strong> es un ejemplo de varios posibles. De decisiones que han tenido que ser reconsideradas. La realidad manda y rectificar es de sabios. Y en estos casos, necesario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Orient Express<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La locomotora <strong>china<\/strong> se empez\u00f3 a frenar al principio de la d\u00e9cada actual. Las <strong>ventas de coches<\/strong>, que estaban desatadas, comenzaron a enfriarse. La <strong>producci\u00f3n<\/strong> se ha ido transformando en <strong>sobreproducci\u00f3n<\/strong>, con un mercado interno que no era ni es capaz de absorber lo fabricado (en 2020, <strong>China fabric\u00f3 unos 25 millones de autom\u00f3viles<\/strong>; en 2024, m\u00e1s de 31 millones, un tercio de la producci\u00f3n mundial).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"573\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-10-1024x573.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62792\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-10-980x549.png 980w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-10-480x269.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La soluci\u00f3n: <strong>exportar<\/strong>. Algunas <strong>marcas chinas<\/strong> comenzaron a tomarse en serio el <strong>mercado europeo<\/strong> como soluci\u00f3n a su capacidad productiva. La primera, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/mg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MG<\/a><\/strong>. Tras <strong>MG<\/strong> el listado no ha parado de crecer, unas con mayor m\u00fasculo y fortaleza de intenciones \u2014como <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/omoda\">Omoda<\/a><\/strong> y <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/jaecoo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jaecoo<\/a><\/strong>\u2014 que otras \u2014Livan, XPENG\u2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez sembrada la semilla en el <strong>consumidor europeo<\/strong> y viendo que este es receptivo a unos <strong>productos<\/strong> que pueden competir con los nuestros y ante la presi\u00f3n de los <strong>aranceles<\/strong> \u2014una guillotina que est\u00e1 siempre ah\u00ed arriba y que no se tiene nunca la certeza de cu\u00e1ndo va a caer y c\u00f3mo de afilada estar\u00e1\u2014, empezaron nuevos movimientos: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/ebro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EBRO<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EBRO EV Motors<\/strong> es una empresa de capital  <strong>espa\u00f1ol<\/strong> que se ha asentado en las antiguas instalaciones de <strong>Nissan en Barcelona<\/strong> para, de momento, hacer un montaje final y, m\u00e1s adelante, fabricar modelos de <strong>Chery<\/strong> con algunos cambios de aspecto y distintos logotipos. As\u00ed, <strong>Chery<\/strong> (que se ha asociado con EBRO EV Motors en la compa\u00f1\u00eda Ebro SUV Manufacturing) tendr\u00e1 acceso al <strong>mercado europeo<\/strong> sin la penalizaci\u00f3n por ser un <strong>fabricante chino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfLeapmotor al rescate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El desembarco de <strong>Chery<\/strong> con <strong>producci\u00f3n local<\/strong> es por ahora casi \u00fanico en el continente, dado que <strong>BYD<\/strong> todav\u00eda est\u00e1 decidiendo d\u00f3nde instalar su primera <strong>planta de producci\u00f3n europea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quien ya lo tiene claro es <strong>Leapmotor<\/strong>. Este fabricante <strong>chino<\/strong> (del que <strong>Stellantis<\/strong> es propietaria del 20 %) va a fabricar sus coches en <strong>Zaragoza<\/strong>. Los rumores llevan tiempo circulado (y los chinos por la f\u00e1brica ma\u00f1a), a\u00fan se espera la confirmaci\u00f3n oficial, pero varios medios chinos ya han publicado que la <strong>planta de Stellantis Figueruelas<\/strong> fabricar\u00e1 no solo un modelo, sino dos: el <strong>B10<\/strong> y el <strong>B05<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n es muy importante dado que apuntala el futuro de la <strong>factor\u00eda<\/strong>, donde actualmente Stellantis fabrica los <strong>Corsa<\/strong>, <strong>208<\/strong> e <strong>Ypsilon<\/strong>, que ser\u00e1n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.media.stellantis.com\/es-es\/corporate-communications\/press\/stellantis-confirma-la-adjudicacion-de-la-plataforma-stla-small-a-las-plantas-de-vigo-y-zaragoza\">reemplazados pr\u00f3ximamente por modelos con la nueva <strong>plataforma STLA Small<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-9-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62791\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-9-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-9-980x653.png 980w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-9-480x320.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">B10, uno de los dos modelos \u00abma\u00f1os\u00bb de Leapmotor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Que <strong>Leapmotor<\/strong> se haya decantado por la <strong>planta zaragozana<\/strong> no es casualidad. <strong>Figueruelas<\/strong> ha sido y es una de las mejores <strong>f\u00e1bricas europeas<\/strong> de Stellantis, con una capacidad de producci\u00f3n que lleg\u00f3 en 2023 a los <strong>365 739 veh\u00edculos<\/strong> y una <strong>industria auxiliar<\/strong> pr\u00f3xima, en la que destaca sobremanera la nueva <strong>gigafactor\u00eda de bater\u00edas de CATL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como ya contamos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/gigafactoria-baterias-stellantis-catl-espana-zaragoza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a> en diciembre de 2024, <strong>Stellantis<\/strong> y <strong>CATL<\/strong> hab\u00edan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.media.stellantis.com\/es-es\/corporate-communications\/press\/fotos-del-acto-stellantis-y-catl-celebrado-en-la-planta-de-stellantis-zaragoza-hoy-dia-10-de-diciembre-de-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">firmado un acuerdo<\/a> para construir una enorme <strong>f\u00e1brica de bater\u00edas<\/strong> junto a la factor\u00eda de <strong>Figueruelas<\/strong>. Semejante inversi\u00f3n (unos <strong>4.100 millones de euros<\/strong>) era evidente que se tom\u00f3 con la intenci\u00f3n de que en esa planta se incrementase la fabricaci\u00f3n de <strong>coches el\u00e9ctricos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La llegada de <strong>Leapmotor<\/strong> no es sino un paso m\u00e1s en esta partida de <strong>ajedrez industrial<\/strong> en la que otro <strong>fabricante asi\u00e1tico<\/strong> se convierte en local. Un movimiento que a <strong>Leapmotor<\/strong> le permitir\u00e1 aumentar y acelerar su <strong>expansi\u00f3n en Europa<\/strong> y a <strong>Stellantis<\/strong> (adem\u00e1s de generar nuevos ingresos), tener otra pata con la que mantener una de sus <strong>f\u00e1bricas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El sector del autom\u00f3vil europeo pasa por momentos de (mucha) incertidumbre.
