Eso dice YASA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La empresa brit\u00e1nica de motores el\u00e9ctricos axiales YASA \u2014desde 2021 pertenece 100 % a Mercedes-Benz\u2014 dice que ha fabricado <strong>el motor el\u00e9ctrico con mayor densidad de potencia de la historia<\/strong>. El susodicho, que no es m\u00e1s que un prototipo, produce <strong>748 CV (550 kW) y pesa tan solo 13,1 kilogramos<\/strong>. Pongamos algo de contexto y hag\u00e1moslo a lo grande: motor V10 de Ferrari empleado en la <strong>temporada 2005 de Formula 1<\/strong>. Este motor, conocido como Tipo 055, produc\u00eda unos<strong> 950 CV y pesaba alrededor de 90 kg<\/strong>. Es decir, que su relaci\u00f3n potencia peso era de <strong>10,6 CV\/kg<\/strong>. O dicho de otra manera, cinco veces inferior a la del motor de YASA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otra comparaci\u00f3n. Ahora con una bestia de la combusti\u00f3n interna mucho m\u00e1s moderna y destinada a veh\u00edculos con matr\u00edcula: <strong>Koenigsegg TFG<\/strong>. Las siglas hacen referencia a <em>Tiny Friendly Giant<\/em> (peque\u00f1o gigante amigable), si bien la tecnolog\u00eda que encierra este motor bien merece ser objeto de un Trabajo de Fin de Grado. Sea como fuere, este tricil\u00edndrico (s\u00ed, tres cilindros) genera <strong>612 CV y pesa 70 kg. Eso da una relaci\u00f3n de 8,7 CV\/kg<\/strong>. La cosa va a peor. Este motor, que originalmente estaba pensado para movilizar el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/koenigsegg\/gemera\/2020\/estandar\/informacion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gemera<\/a>, nunca vio la luz, pues fue desestimado en favor de un V8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visto que en el mundo de la combusti\u00f3n no hallamos rival, cambiemos al mundo el\u00e9ctrico.<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/lucid\/air\/2021\/informacion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lucid Air Sapphire<\/a><\/strong>, una berlina con tres motores el\u00e9ctricos, de unos <strong>680 CV cada uno y 74 kilogramos. Relaci\u00f3n de 9,2 CV\/kg<\/strong>. Este motor el\u00e9ctrico mueve el eje delantero del Gemera<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Subamos de nivel. <strong>Koenigsegg Dark Matter<\/strong>. Un motor el\u00e9ctrico con una configuraci\u00f3n que Koenigsegg denomina Raxial (combinaci\u00f3n de radial y axial), que produce <strong>816 CV y pesa unos m\u00edseros 39 kilogramos<\/strong>. Su relaci\u00f3n es de <strong>20,9 CV\/kg<\/strong>. Es un gran salto con respecto a todo lo que hemos visto hasta ahora, pero no llega ni a la mitad del motor de YASA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el \u00e1mbito de las <strong>aplicaciones aeropespaciales y marinas<\/strong>, uno de los motores comercialmente disponibles con mayor densidad de potencia es actualmente el <strong>Equipmake HPM-400, que da 544 CV y pesa 30 kg (18,1 CV\/kg)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suficiente. Es evidente que el motor de YASA no tiene rival. No obstante, conviene recordar que se trata de una versi\u00f3n prototipo, es decir, que no lo vamos a ver en ning\u00fan veh\u00edculo, barco o nave espacial. Seg\u00fan afirma<strong> Tim Woolmer<\/strong> \u2014fundador de YASA y CTO\u2014 en sus redes sociales, \u00abpara lograr este rendimiento no ha sido necesario recurrir a materiales ex\u00f3ticos como el <strong>cobalto para el laminado<\/strong>, ni a t\u00e9cnicas de fabricaci\u00f3n especiales como el uso de <strong>hilo de Litz y la impresi\u00f3n 3D<\/strong>\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Woolmer a\u00f1ade que este motor es capaz de alcanzar velocidades de <strong>14 000 rpm<\/strong> (que es un valor muy elevado para un motor axial) y un <strong>par m\u00e1ximo de 800 Nm<\/strong>. En esos 13,1 kg est\u00e1n incluidos los principales componentes del motor (el est\u00e1tor y el rotor de imanes permanentes), la correspondiente carcasa y el eje de salida.
