Desde abril de 2012, tiene <strong>mayores descuentos y un nuevo motor Diesel de 114 CV<\/strong>.<br \/>\nRespecto al 407, el 508 es un coche con un <strong>interior claramente m\u00e1s espacioso<\/strong>, tanto para los pasajeros como para la carga. El 407 tiene unas plazas traseras peque\u00f1as, pero en el 508 hay un avance importante en este sentido, sin que la longitud del exterior crezca en gran medida (apenas 10 cm m\u00e1s que el 407).<br \/>\nHay dos motores de gasolina (1.6 VTI de 120 CV y 1.6 THP de 156 CV) y\u00a0cuatro Diesel (1.6 HDI de 114 CV, 2.0 HDI de 140 CV, 2.0 HDI de 163 CV y 2.2 HDI de 204 CV). El motor Diesel de 114 CV reemplaza al 1.6 HDI de 111 CV que se comercializaba hasta ahora. A pesar de ser 3 CV m\u00e1s potente, no hay variaciones en las prestaciones ni en el consumo.<br \/>\nEn el segundo semestre de 2012\u00a0 habr\u00e1 una <strong>versi\u00f3n \u00abHYbrid4\u00bb<\/strong> con carrocer\u00eda berlina y familiar (actualmente ya se comercializa el<strong> 508 RXH<\/strong>, que lleva propulsi\u00f3n h\u00edbrida). Combina el motor Diesel de 163 CV con uno el\u00e9ctrico de 37 CV.
