Seguro que a la mayor\u00eda de los que nacimos y crecimos hace ya unas cuantas d\u00e9cadas, <strong>la marca Ebro nos suena<\/strong>. Nos suena a tractores, a camiones y furgonetas, que es lo que la marca fabricaba all\u00e1 por los a\u00f1os 60, 70 y 80. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero los tiempos cambian y, aunque Ebro est\u00e1 de vuelta, <strong>ni fabrica el mismo tipo de coches ni se trata de la misma empresa de anta\u00f1o<\/strong>. EV Motors (espa\u00f1ola) es la propietaria de la marca y, gracias al apoyo econ\u00f3mico del grupo chino Chery, tenemos dos nuevos modelos en el mercado, ambos de tipo SUV: <strong>el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/ebro\/s700\/2025\/estandar\/informacion\">S700<\/a> del que hablamos hoy, y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/ebro\/s800\/2025\/estandar\/informacion\">S800<\/a> de siete plazas, del que hablaremos en un futuro<\/strong>. Ambos se ensamblan en Barcelona, eso s\u00ed, en las antiguas instalaciones de Nissan de la Zona Franca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El S700 mide <strong>4,55 metros de longitud<\/strong> y est\u00e1 fabricado sobre la plataforma T1X del Grupo Chery, la misma empleada en los <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/omoda\/5\/2022\/estandar\/informacion\">Omoda 5<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/jaecoo\/7\/2024\/estandar\/informacion\">Jaecoo 7<\/a>. No acaban ah\u00ed las similitudes con estos coches: el motor (<strong>1.6 de gasolina con 147 CV<\/strong>) y la caja de cambios (autom\u00e1tica de siete relaciones) tambi\u00e9n son los mismos, as\u00ed como multitud de elementos mec\u00e1nicos y del interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eso para la versi\u00f3n b\u00e1sica, que es la que probamos hoy. Pero si queremos algo m\u00e1s,<strong> la marca (medio) espa\u00f1ola ofrece tambi\u00e9n una versi\u00f3n h\u00edbrida enchufable con 347 CV<\/strong>, 90 km de autonom\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica y la ansiada <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/glosario\/distintivo-medioambiental-dgt\">etiqueta 0 emisiones de la DGT<\/a>. Y s\u00ed, efectivamente, tambi\u00e9n se trata del mismo sistema propulsor que Jaecoo utiliza en el 7 PHEV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero ya nos centramos en lo que de verdad nos ata\u00f1e hoy, que es su rendimiento en los ejercicios de esquiva y eslalon en circuito. \u00bfQu\u00e9 tal lo hizo este S700? Pues ciertamente muy bien, <strong>especialmente en la esquiva<\/strong>. Es un coche que se lo pone muy f\u00e1cil al conductor en todo momento. No hay rebotes durante el recorrido, no hay movimiento extra\u00f1os, el balanceo no es muy acusado el y control de estabilidad est\u00e1 muy bien puesto a punto. No es de extra\u00f1ar, por tanto, que <strong>consigui\u00e9ramos hacer muchas pasadas buenas y a una velocidad alta<\/strong> (la mejor a 79 km\/h, que es muy buen dato).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el eslalon tampoco lo hizo mal, no hubo contratiempos, pero como el motor no tiene mucha potencia y la caja de cambios es m\u00e1s bien lenta de reacciones, <strong>le cost\u00f3 salir desde parado y ganar velocidad<\/strong>.
