La imagen que m\u00e1s se repite es la de los faros y la calandra del Willys. \u00c9sta se puede ver en los altavoces, en el hueco que hay delante de la palanca del cambio, en los laterales de la carcasa de pl\u00e1stico que hay detr\u00e1s del retrovisor central y en el respaldo de los asientos delanteros.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5981\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/willys-detalles.jpg\" alt=\"willys-detalles\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/willys-detalles.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/willys-detalles-480x360.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><br \/>\nPero hay m\u00e1s sitios, como en el interior de los faros (cuando son hal\u00f3genos, no en los de xen\u00f3n), en la cara interna del port\u00f3n del maletero y en los men\u00fas de la instrumentaci\u00f3n (como se puede ver en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ol6iS2l4GyE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">este v\u00eddeo<\/a>).<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5993\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/mas-detales.jpg\" alt=\"mas-detales\" width=\"700\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/mas-detales.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/mas-detales-480x343.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><br \/>\nWillys fue un todoterreno utilizado a partir de 1941 por el ej\u00e9rcito americano durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial,\u00a0pero,\u00a0sobre todo, fue el origen de Jeep. No hay consenso sobre la historia de c\u00f3mo surgi\u00f3 la palabra \u00abjeep\u00bb. La teor\u00eda m\u00e1s extendida dice que el ej\u00e9rcito americano utilizaba esta palabra para referirse a los veh\u00edculos prototipos que probaban antes de dar el visto bueno y que el t\u00e9rmino jeep no es m\u00e1s que la asimilaci\u00f3n fon\u00e9tica de la designaci\u00f3n GP (Government Purposes) con la que oficialmente se hac\u00eda referencia a estos prototipos.<br \/>\nEn cualquier caso, el Willys adquiri\u00f3 tan buena reputaci\u00f3n por sus capacidades off-road, facilidad de mantenimiento y durabilidad que la palabra jeep pas\u00f3 a asociarse directamente con \u00e9l y Willys-Overland\u00a0(la compa\u00f1\u00eda que fabricaba el Willys) viendo el \u00e9xito decidi\u00f3 registrar Jeep como nombre comercial en 1943. Debajo de las salidas de aire centrales hay una inscripci\u00f3n que recuerda el a\u00f1o en que empez\u00f3 todo, \u00absince 1941\u00bb.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5982\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/since-1941.jpg\" alt=\"since-1941\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/since-1941.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/since-1941-480x360.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><br \/>\nEl Willys llevaba unos bidones con gasolina de reserva en cuyos laterales hab\u00eda una \u00abequis\u00bb en bajorrelieve. Pues bien, Jeep tambi\u00e9n hace referencia a esta peculiaridad con la reproducci\u00f3n de la citada \u00abequis\u00bb en diferentes partes del veh\u00edculo, como por ejemplo, en los faros y los pilotos.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5983\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/faros.jpg\" alt=\"faros\" width=\"700\" height=\"520\" \/><br \/>\nOtra referencia al Willys se halla en la esquina inferior derecha del parabrisas (visto desde el puesto de conducci\u00f3n). Este detalle tambi\u00e9n se ve en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/jeep\/cherokee\/2014\/informacion-precio.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeep Chreokee<\/a>. Pero para que no se nos olvide, en la pieza de pl\u00e1stico que rodea el bot\u00f3n de arranque del motor, hay una frase que dice \u00abto new adventures\u00bb (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/fotos\/Jeep\/Renegade_2015\/Jeep-Renegade_2015-_1.6_MultiJet_120_CV_4x2-Limited-Todo_terreno-Naranja_Omaha-Interior-Salpicadero-5_puertas-201503090014.html?modelId=2543&amp;photoType=2&amp;order=2&amp;division=tipo&amp;galleryLimit=9223372036854775807&amp;galleryBackLimit=12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">en esta imagen<\/a> no se ve especialmente bien, pero se puede leer la mayor\u00eda de la frase). Primero, el mensaje \u00abno step!\u00bb (\u00a1no pisar!) que hay inscrito en el inferior del marco de las puertas traseras. \u00c9ste tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/fiat\/500x\/2015\/informacion-precio-motor-314625-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fiat 500X<\/a>, pero no s\u00e9 si es un mensaje que hay que tener en cuenta o simplemente es m\u00e1s decoraci\u00f3n (yo lo he pisado un poco y no parec\u00eda hundirse).
