Hay un poco de ambas cosas. Sea como fuere, es un <strong>motor el\u00e9ctrico de 170 CV<\/strong> el encargado exclusivo de mover las ruedas. La bater\u00eda de la que se alimenta tiene una<strong> capacidad de 17,8 kWh<\/strong> y da para recorrer 85 km en el ciclo de homologaci\u00f3n WLTP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un veh\u00edculo el\u00e9ctrico con esa autonom\u00eda ser\u00eda insufrible. Para resolver el problema, Mazda ha instalado un <strong>motor de combusti\u00f3n de gasolina<\/strong> cuya \u00fanica misi\u00f3n es mover un generador y cargar la bater\u00eda. No existe ning\u00fan tipo de vinculaci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica ente las ruedas y el motor de combusti\u00f3n. Gracias a este motor y un <strong>dep\u00f3sito de gasolina de 50 litros<\/strong>, el MX-30 R-EV puede andar f\u00e1cilmente m\u00e1s de 500 km sin parar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este sistema propulsor no tiene nada particularmente rese\u00f1able tal cual lo hemos descrito hasta ahora. Lo interesante viene ahora:<strong> el motor de combusti\u00f3n es rotativo, de tipo Wankel<\/strong>. De esta manera, Mazda recupera esta tipolog\u00eda de motor, si bien para un fin diferente al del pasado, en el que se empleaba para mover ruedas y, por tanto para mover al coche (habitualmente deportivos). En cualquier caso, actualmente es el \u00fanico coche a la venta con un motor de este estilo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En esta prueba en v\u00eddeo analizamos el MX-30 R-EV, explicamos<strong> un poco de la historia del motor Wankel y echamos unas cuentas para ver si sale rentable<\/strong> con respecto al CX-30, el modelo dentro de la gama de Mazda m\u00e1s parecido.
