En Espa\u00f1a no se comercializa (ni este ni ning\u00fan otro Cadillac, al menos por cauces oficiales), pero es un modelo que no resulta desconocido porque aparece en multitud de series y pel\u00edculas. Puede ser con unas llantas de 23\u201d cromadas y <strong>conducido por el rapero m\u00e1s hortera<\/strong> mientras escucha, a todo trapo,<em> In Da Club<\/em> de 50 cents o usado por<strong> dos intr\u00e9pidos agentes del FBI<\/strong> que se dirigen a una caba\u00f1a abandonada en lo m\u00e1s profundo de un bosque de secuoyas milenarias donde el malo maloso les espera agazapado tras una cortina haraposa.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 publicamos ahora en km77.com un art\u00edculo de un Escalade? Pues porque Cadillac ha presentado un nuevo modelo, el 2025 Escalade IQ. Y tiene algo especial. No es que sea el primer Escalade el\u00e9ctrico, que lo es, ni por su desmesurada potencia, que tambi\u00e9n lo es, sino por ser el <strong>primer coche el\u00e9ctrico con una bater\u00eda de \u00abm\u00e1s\u00bb 200 kWh<\/strong>. Miento, hay otro, el <strong>Hummer EV<\/strong> pero la propia Hummer no ha confirmado por ahora la capacidad de la bater\u00eda, que se supone que es de casi 250 kWh. Actualmente s\u00ed. Dir\u00eda que una barbaridad. En Europa, Mercedes puede presumir de tener-la m\u00e1s grande, pero es casi la mitad que la del Escalade IQ: <strong>108,4 kWh de capacidad<\/strong> (\u00fatil, no conocemos el dato bruto). El coche en la que<strong> va montada es el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/mercedes\/eqs\/2022\/estandar\/amg\/amg-eqs-53-4matic2\/datos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EQS SUV<\/a>, un rival en el mercado americano de este Escalade<\/strong>. El siguiente es el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/volvo\/ex90\/2023\/estandar\/estandar\/ex90-twin-motor-performance\/datos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Volvo EX90<\/a>, con una capacidad \u00fatil de 107 kWh (y una bruta de 111 kWh).<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPara qu\u00e9 sirve semejante almacenaje de energ\u00eda? Para lo obvio, <strong>conseguir una autonom\u00eda elevada. Nada menos que 450 millas (724 km) en la prueba de homologaci\u00f3n EPA<\/strong>, que es la que se usa en <em>USA<\/em> y que es m\u00e1s exigente que la WLTP que empleamos en Europa. \u00a0Tambi\u00e9n conviene tener en cuenta que en EE. En la prueba WLTP, este Mercedes tiene homologada una autonom\u00eda de 599 km (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/mercedes\/eqs\/2023\/suv\/estandar\/eqs-suv-580-4matic\/datos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ficha t\u00e9cnica<\/a>); <strong>haciendo una regla de tres, la autonom\u00eda WLTP aproximada del Escalade IQ ser\u00eda de unos 945 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong>, mucho m\u00e1s que lo que alcanza el coche con mayor autonom\u00eda de los que se venden en Espa\u00f1a, que es otro Mercedes, en este caso el EQS berlina (734 km).<\/p>\n<p>En <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/listados-tematicos\/coches-electricos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">este listado aparecen todos los coches el\u00e9ctricos a la venta en Espa\u00f1a<\/a> con sus precios, potencia, consumo, autonom\u00eda y capacidad \u00fatil de la bater\u00eda. La arquitectura el\u00e9ctrica es de <strong>800 V<\/strong> (como la de un Porsche Taycan o un Kia EV6) lo que permite recargas a mayor potencia que la m\u00e1s habitual de 400 V, aunque Cadillac no da el dato.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfY cu\u00e1nto pesa el Escalade IQ con esta bater\u00eda de 200 kWh? Pues Cadillac no lo dice. Podemos jugar a las suposiciones sabiendo que el EQS SUV pesa, en su versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s rechoncha, 2810 kg. Los casi 100 kWh m\u00e1s de bater\u00eda del Escalade supondr\u00e1n alrededor de unos 500 kg m\u00e1s y hay que a\u00f1adir el peso adicionar por los 60 cm m\u00e1s de longitud del Cadillac, que podr\u00edan ser unos 150 kg m\u00e1s. Tambi\u00e9n lo es la potencia, <strong>761 CV<\/strong> (activando el modo de mayor potencia, en el normal \u00absolo\u00bb se dispone de 687 CV); la capacidad de remolque (<strong>3600 km<\/strong>); la pantalla del salpicadero (<strong>55\u201d<\/strong>, va de un extremo al otro, aunque realmente son dos pantallas curvas contiguas; como en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/cadillac-celestiq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Celestiq<\/a>, funcionan con un procesador Snapdragon y bajo el <strong>sistema operativo Android Automotive<\/strong>); el n\u00famero de altavoces (19 con el equipo de sonido b\u00e1sico AKG Studio \u00a0o <strong>40 con el AKG Studio Reference<\/strong>); el n\u00famero de colores para la iluminaci\u00f3n ambiental (<strong>126<\/strong>); el tama\u00f1o de las llantas (<strong>24 pulgadas<\/strong>); o las dimensiones de la carrocer\u00eda (<strong>5697 mm de longitud, 2167 mm de anchura y 1934 mm de altura<\/strong>;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/comparador\/ve:car:kia:ev9:2023:estandar:estandar:ev9-awd-long-range,ve:car:volvo:ex90:2023:estandar:estandar:ex90-twin-motor,ve:car:mercedes:eqs:2023:suv:estandar:eqs-suv-450-4matic#measurements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqu\u00ed se pueden comparar las dimensiones del Kia EV9, el EQS SUV y el EX90<\/a>, tres coches enormes por nuestros lares a los que el Escalade hace peque\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>batalla tambi\u00e9n es enorme (3460 mm)<\/strong>. Con las ruedas tan alejadas y con el tama\u00f1o de la carrocer\u00eda el <strong>di\u00e1metro de giro es de 12 metros<\/strong>. Menos de lo que necesita el EV9 (12,4 m) o el EX90 (12,2 m); el EQS SUV gira casi igual (11,9 m). Cadillac lo consigue con un sistema de direcci\u00f3n en las cuatro ruedas (como Mercedes) en el que las ruedas traseras giran hasta 10 grados. La carrocer\u00eda se puede elevar 25 mm sobre la altura est\u00e1ndar o bajar 50 mm.<\/p>\n<p>Otras curiosidades del Cadillac Escalade IQ son que s<strong>us puertas se abren sin necesidad de empujarlas o tirar de ellas<\/strong> con la mano o que dispone de un <strong>sistema de conducci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/reportajes\/varios\/conduccion-autonoma-niveles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nivel 2+<\/a>\u00a0llamado Super Cruise<\/strong> que permite conducir si sujetar el volante en algunas carreteras de EE. UU y Canad\u00e1 (seg\u00fan Cadillac son 644.000 kil\u00f3metros de carreteras), aunque no desastender la conducci\u00f3n (requisito para que fuera nivel 3).<\/p>\n<p>El precio del Cadillac 2025 Escalade IQ comenzar\u00e1 en 130.000 dolares, unos 118.000 euros al cambio actual.\u00a0 El Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV de 544 CV con siete plazas cuesta en EE.
