Audi ten\u00eda una unidad disponible en los workshops de t\u00e9cnica a los que hemos acudido. En ocasiones, las marcas llevan coches antiguos-cl\u00e1sicos a los distintos eventos, pero no siempre se pueden conducir. En esta ocasi\u00f3n no era as\u00ed. Pregunto si me lo puedo llevar a dar una vuelta. Me dicen que s\u00ed. Sin embargo, en t\u00e9rminos generales, me ha sorprendido muy positivamente porque es c\u00f3modo, tiene buen tacto y su motor empuja m\u00e1s que suficiente. El motor vibra mucho al ralent\u00ed y es ruidoso, sin llegar a ser escandaloso o dram\u00e1tico; as\u00ed eran los Diesel de entonces. Es un motor con poca respuesta a bajo r\u00e9gimen (tambi\u00e9n para los est\u00e1ndares actuales) y que da un fuerte empuj\u00f3n a medio r\u00e9gimen cuando el turbocompresor interviene con claridad. Las prestaciones de este coche ser\u00edan suficientes a d\u00eda de hoy para viajar sin problemas al ritmo del resto del tr\u00e1fico e incluso tambi\u00e9n permitir\u00eda ir a un ritmo m\u00e1s elevado.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5323\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/audi-100-tdi-motor.jpg\" alt=\"Audi 100 TDI (1989). La combinaci\u00f3n de ambas caracter\u00edsticas hace que los apoyos curva se hagan esperar y que la carrocer\u00eda tenga amplios movimientos de balanceo. Tambi\u00e9n cabecea considerablemente al frenar fuerte. Siempre he le\u00eddo que los Audi, y en general los coches del Grupo Volkswagen de esa \u00e9poca, eran muy suaves de suspensi\u00f3n. No invita a correr, pero se lleva con facilidad. Este Audi 100, como otros Audi actuales, tiene \u00abese algo\u00bb, ese tacto especial que hace que al poco de ponerse a sus mandos, todo parece familiar, natural. No son necesarios largos procesos de aclimataci\u00f3n. Responde como uno espera y los mandos del interior se encuentran con facilidad y mucho mejor que en casi todos los coches modernos.<br \/>\nMe ha sorprendido el funcionamiento del cambio de marchas manual (de cinco relaciones). Es sensacional por su preciso accionamiento, rapidez de selecci\u00f3n y el poco esfuerzo que requiere mover la palanca. En cuanto he engranado las dos primeras marchas, lo primero que me ha venido a la memoria es el Volkswagen Passat 1.6D o Passat B2 (ten\u00eda motor 1,6 litros y 54 caballos de potencia!!) propiedad de un familiar y que yo conduc\u00eda puntualmente (o quiz\u00e1 m\u00e1s) por caminos de tierra a finales de la d\u00e9cada de los 80.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5317\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/audi-100-tdi-consola.jpg\" alt=\"Audi 100 TDI. Consola\" width=\"700\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/audi-100-tdi-consola.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/audi-100-tdi-consola-480x293.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><br \/>\nCreo que si tuviera que hacer un viaje de varios cientos de kil\u00f3metros con este Audi 100 TDI, llegar\u00eda igual de descansado (o cansado) que con un coche moderno de gama equivalente. La suspensi\u00f3n es c\u00f3moda, el motor no hace mucho ruido una vez el coche ha echado a rodar, frena bien, su direcci\u00f3n responde correctamente (eso s\u00ed, con algo de lentitud y un fuerte balanceo de carrocer\u00eda) y su motor permite salir con relativa agilidad de las situaciones complicadas.\u00a0 La posici\u00f3n de conducci\u00f3n es buena (pero los asientos muy blandos), todo queda a mano y la visibilidad es mucho mejor que la de casi cualquier coche actual.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5316\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/audi-100-tdi-asientos.jpg\" alt=\"Audi 100 TDI.
