Todas se descartaron al poco tiempo, pero fue la descapotable la que tuvo m\u00e1s recorrido, pues es la \u00fanica de la que <strong>se construy\u00f3 un prototipo a escala real<\/strong>. El mecanismo de plegado que Porsche ten\u00eda planeado para \u00e9l era <strong>similar al que lleva el 911 Targa desde la generaci\u00f3n 991<\/strong>: la tapa posterior se levanta y se echa hacia atr\u00e1s y el techo se guarda debajo de esta plegado en forma de Z (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kbLhL6GTqmQ\">v\u00eddeo del proceso en el 911 Targa<\/a>). Esa era la idea, pero las simulaciones por ordenador se\u00f1alaban que ese mecanismo de plegado ten\u00eda una serie de <strong>incompatibilidades sobre las que Porsche decidi\u00f3 no investigar<\/strong> para su resoluci\u00f3n. Por lo tanto, no es un prototipo apto para realizar pruebas de conducci\u00f3n. El objetivo era evaluar otras cuestiones. En concreto, Porsche cita cuatro:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00bfEs la <strong>posici\u00f3n de conducci\u00f3n<\/strong> c\u00f3moda teniendo en cuenta que los pilares del parabrisas son m\u00e1s cortos y est\u00e1n m\u00e1s tendidos hacia atr\u00e1s?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfC\u00f3mo de pr\u00e1ctico es un Cayenne de dos puertas con unas puertas delanteras que miden <strong>20 cent\u00edmetros m\u00e1s de longitud<\/strong> que las del modelo convencional?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfEs posible <strong>instalar un techo de forma armoniosa<\/strong> y que se pueda plegar autom\u00e1ticamente en poco tiempo?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfQu\u00e9 dise\u00f1o debe tener la <strong>parte posterior<\/strong>?\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Sobre esta \u00faltima cuesti\u00f3n no hab\u00eda unanimidad y el grupo de dise\u00f1adores debat\u00eda entre dos propuestas. Para no construir dos prototipos, <strong>decidieron hacer uno con dos culos<\/strong>.
