A grandes rasgos, las versiones Laredo y Limited tienen suspensi\u00f3n de muelles helicoidales tradicionales (que no dan la posibilidad de cambiar la altura de la carrocer\u00eda). Por otro lado, las versiones tope de gama, Overland y Summit, en combinaci\u00f3n con el motor Diesel de 250 caballos, llevan suspensi\u00f3n de muelles neum\u00e1ticos (con posibilidad de cambiar la altura de la carrocer\u00eda, funci\u00f3n que se denomina Quadra-Lift ). Adem\u00e1s, su diferencial posterior es de deslizamiento limitado (en lugar de libre). Por lo tanto, estas versiones tope de gama est\u00e1n mejor preparadas para un uso por campo.<br \/>\nLa unidad que aparece en el siguiente v\u00eddeo\u00a0 tiene motor Diesel de 250 caballos de potencia y acabado Limited, es decir, la configuraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s sencilla de tracci\u00f3n y suspensi\u00f3n.<br \/>\n<iframe title=\"Jeep Grand Cherokee. En algunos obst\u00e1culos la parte frontal del paragolpes pasa muy cerca de las irregularidades. Esta pieza no llega a rozar en ning\u00fan momento en las escenas que se ven en el v\u00eddeo, pero s\u00ed lo hizo en otros momentos.<br \/>\nEn el siguiente muestra una serie de datos que confirman la superioridad de las versiones Overland y Summit frente a las Laredo y Limited a la hora de abordar grandes obst\u00e1culos. De todas formas recomiendo detenerse en el minuto 2:30. Ah\u00ed se ve un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/glosario\/c\/crucejes.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cruce de ejes<\/a> donde el coche tiene dificultades para moverse. No avanza con m\u00e1s facilidad porque la rueda posterior derecha (la que tiene buen contacto con el suelo) no es capaz de hacer suficiente fuerza contra el suelo. La trasera derecha s\u00ed gira, pero como no casi no tiene apoyo, no puede dar el empuje suficiente para mover el coche.
