El Dakar es una prueba en la que no s\u00f3lo priman las victorias de etapa, sino la victoria en la general el \u00faltimo d\u00eda. Creo que, en l\u00edneas generales, el equipo tiene que estar contento con el resultado. Hace seis meses todo esto era un sue\u00f1o, y con el trabajo y el esfuerzo de todos los miembros del equipo ha sido posible estar en la l\u00ednea de salida en Lima. Pero s\u00f3lo con esto no es suficiente. Nosotros \u00e9ramos conscientes de nuestras limitaciones, pero nos quer\u00edamos aferrar a nuestras ilusiones. La falta de kil\u00f3metros de calidad, m\u00e1s sesiones de test, nos ha perjudicado y nos han penalizado en partes puntuales, pero decisivas, de la prueba.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/lucas_abandono_1.jpg\" alt=\"lucas_abandono_1\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-436\" \/><!--more--><br \/>\nPrimero los problemas con el coche de Carlos y posteriormente con el nuestro. No fueron problemas de gran magnitud, pero s\u00ed lo suficientemente importantes como para tener que abandonar. Despu\u00e9s de desmontar todas las partes estropeadas del veh\u00edculo y analizar las causas de los problemas, llegamos a varias conclusiones. Por un lado, la bomba del agua se romp\u00eda por culpa de un sobresfuerzo de la correa, mientras que el problema que nos llev\u00f3 al abandono definitivo fue la rotura del cojinete de la rueda posterior izquierda. El rodamiento estaba completamente seco y la falta de lubricaci\u00f3n produjo un deterioro del cojinete y de sus pistas, lo que no nos permita mover la rueda del sitio. Despu\u00e9s de desmontar el buje trasero y comprobar cu\u00e1l era el fallo, intentamos repararlo, pero nos fue imposible. El \u00faltimo cami\u00f3n nos ayud\u00f3 a arrastrar el coche sin rueda trasera izquierda hasta la intersecci\u00f3n con una carretera. De este modo los mec\u00e1nicos ten\u00edan acceso f\u00e1cil a la reparaci\u00f3n sin necesidad de llenar todas las partes de polvo. Despu\u00e9s de la reparaci\u00f3n decidimos excluirnos nosotros mismos, puesto que hab\u00edamos recibido ayuda externa dentro de la especial.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/lucas_abandono_2.jpg\" alt=\"lucas_abandono_2\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-437\" \/><br \/>\nPor lo dem\u00e1s, s\u00f3lo queda agradeceros vuestra confianza y el apoyo que me hab\u00e9is dado, y esperemos que el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o sea m\u00e1s favorable y podamos llegar hasta la meta en una buena posici\u00f3n.<br \/>\nTrabajaremos duro para conseguirlo e intentaremos incorporar alg\u00fan piloto a la estructura, lo que nos ayudar\u00e1 luchar de una forma m\u00e1s equitativa y competitiva. La mec\u00e1nica del buggy es algo m\u00e1s sencilla que la de los WRC y m\u00e1s ligera, lo que los mec\u00e1nicos lo agradecer\u00e1n.<br \/>\nAunque antes de pensar en 2014 hay que acabar aqu\u00ed, ya que estos d\u00edas est\u00e1n siendo muy intensos para poder arreglar todo y dejar los coches listos para mandarlos en el barco.<br \/>\nNos vemos en 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Esta edici\u00f3n del Dakar ha terminado anticipadamente.
