Ser\u00e1 un coche el\u00e9ctrico y s\u00f3lo el\u00e9ctrico, con bater\u00edas de ion de litio. Su tama\u00f1o rondar\u00e1 los 4,10 metros de longitud y tendr\u00e1 dos maleteros, uno en la zona delantera y otro en la posterior. Es posible que se comercialice bajo la marca Isetta, pero no est\u00e1 decidido que sea as\u00ed. Quedan muchos factores por decidir de este coche, entre otros la potencia del motor. El desarrollo se empez\u00f3 en 2008 y quedan todav\u00eda unos a\u00f1os para definirlo exactamente.<\/p>\n<p>Adrian van Hooydonk, Director de dise\u00f1o de BMW, nos ha mostrado hoy en una pantalla la l\u00ednea b\u00e1sica del dise\u00f1o de este coche. \u00abNo les puedo dar una definici\u00f3n m\u00e1s precisa porque todav\u00eda no ha sido aprobaba por el Consejo de BMW\u00bb nos ha dicho. Todo muy estudiado para hacernos sentir exclusivos.<\/p>\n<p>Vista lateral delantera<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3955\" title=\"Mega city Vehicle, de BMW\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/files\/2010\/07\/delante1.JPG\" alt=\"Mega city Vehicle, proyectado por BMW\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Para mantener la tradici\u00f3n de BMW, este coche ser\u00e1 de tracci\u00f3n posterior o de propulsi\u00f3n posterior, como prefieran. Con doble estructura. Un chasis inferior, al estilo de los todoterreno cl\u00e1sicos, de aluminio, que dar\u00e1 sustento a la bater\u00eda y al motor el\u00e9ctrico, situado en la parte posterior. Sobre ese chasis, se colocar\u00e1 una carrocer\u00eda de fibra de carbono. Todav\u00eda no est\u00e1 definido si llevar\u00e1 pilar central o no. (Como la soluci\u00f3n sin pilar central es especialmente dif\u00edcil, mi apuesta es que llevar\u00e1 pilar central, pero es una c\u00e1bala personal, basada en el lenguaje corporal del ingeniero al que le hemos preguntado. \u00c9l asegura que no est\u00e1 definido.)<\/p>\n<p>En BMW aseguran y parecen convencidos de que los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos requieren un desarrollo espec\u00edfico. Que no sirve adaptar un veh\u00edculo tradicional, con carrocer\u00eda monocasco. Dicen que para conseguir que un veh\u00edculo el\u00e9ctrico sea eficiente, es impresicindible utilizar materiales ligeros para compensar el sobrepeso causado por las bater\u00edas. Para conseguir un autonom\u00eda de alrededor de 150 kil\u00f3metros, las bater\u00edas pueden suponer un peso de alrededor de 300 kilogramos. Ese peso debe compensarse con materiales ligeros.<\/p>\n<p>La potencia del motor el\u00e9ctrico no la han desvelado, pero en diferentes ocasiones han hecho referencia a motores el\u00e9ctricos de una potencia de 80 kW, por lo que estoy casi seguro de que habr\u00e1 un motor de esa potencia o similar.<\/p>\n<p>Ma\u00f1ana por la ma\u00f1ana tendr\u00e9 acceso de nuevo a todos los ingenieros.
