Pero los neum\u00e1ticos de invierno no s\u00f3lo proporcionan una \u2014para m\u00ed, sorprendente\u2014 adherencia en firmes como la nieve y hielo, los fabricantes\u00a0 tambi\u00e9n afirman que ofrecen un mayor rendimiento que los normales (llamados de verano) en cuanto la temperatura baja de 7 \u00baC, cifra que s\u00ed es habitual en gran parte de Espa\u00f1a en los meses de invierno.<br \/>\nCuando la temperatura supera esos siete grados al neum\u00e1tico no le pasa nada, no se desintegra, simplemente sus cualidades a partir de ese punto comienzan a empeorar respecto a uno de verano.\u00a0 Y sea en verano o en invierno es m\u00e1s ruidoso, algo que ya contamos en la<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/100000-km-en-golf\/1131\/inviernoneumaticos-invierno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> prueba de 100.000 km del Volkswagen Golf<\/a>.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3478\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Michelin-Pilot-Alpin.jpg\" alt=\"Michelin-Pilot-Alpin\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Michelin-Pilot-Alpin.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Michelin-Pilot-Alpin-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><br \/>\nEl precio del neum\u00e1tico de invierno es generalmente mayor que el de verano. Por ejemplo, uno de medidas 205\/55 R16 cuesta unos 90 \u20ac si es de verano y cerca de 125 \u20ac si es de invierno.\u00a0 Otro problema para muchas\u00a0 personas puede ser d\u00f3nde guardar el juego de ruedas de verano en invierno y viceversa. Por lo visto, no lo puedo corroborar, parece una pr\u00e1ctica habitual que en el propio taller que las cambia las almacene sin contraprestaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nMichelin, con motivo del lanzamiento de dos nuevos neum\u00e1ticos de invierno \u2014Latitude Alpin y Pilot Alpin\u2014, nos ha llevado al circuito de nieve\/hielo de Pas de la Casa (Andorra) para comprobar el funcionamiento de este tipo de neum\u00e1ticos. Los Latitude Alpin montados en un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/mercedes-Benz\/glk\/2012\/mercedes-benz-glk-precio.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mercedes-Benz GLK<\/a> y un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/mercedes-benz\/clase-m\/2012\/mercedes-benz-clase-m-precios.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ML<\/a>. Los Pilot Alpin, en un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/mercedes-benz\/clase-e\/2009\/t01.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clase E<\/a> y unos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/mercedes-benz\/clase-c\/2011\/mercedes-benz-clase-c-precios.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clase C<\/a>.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/michelin-alpin.jpg\" alt=\"michelin alpin\" width=\"700\" height=\"536\" \/><br \/>\nPara aquellos que sean como Santo Tom\u00e1s y no crean lo que les voy a contar m\u00e1s abajo (bien hecho\u2026) les aviso que tienen la oportunidad de hacer las mismas pruebas que he hecho yo porque Mercedes-Benz tiene operativo este curso hasta principios del mes de marzo y realizarlo es totalmente gratuito. La sesi\u00f3n de ma\u00f1ana est\u00e1 reservada a clientes de la marca y por la tarde a aquellos que se apunten. Y es gratis. <a href=\"https:\/\/experienciamercedes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 la informaci\u00f3n y el procedimiento para hacerlo. <\/a><br \/>\nLa pista de Pas de la Casa estaba helada, no hab\u00eda una capa de nieve polvo que facilitase la labor del neum\u00e1tico y a\u00fan en esas circunstancias la capacidad de control que permit\u00edan esos neum\u00e1ticos de invierno de Michelin era asombrosa. No, no se puede ir a la misma velocidad que sobre asfalto seco pero es posible controlar el coche en curva, acelerar sin problemas en una cuesta o bajarla sin temor a que patinen y la bajada se convierta en un descenso descontrolado.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3475\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Circuito-pas-delacasa-Michelin-2.jpg\" alt=\"Circuito-pas-delacasa-Michelin-2\" width=\"700\" height=\"408\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Circuito-pas-delacasa-Michelin-2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Circuito-pas-delacasa-Michelin-2-480x280.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><br \/>\nNo puedo contar si estos neum\u00e1ticos de Michelin son mejores o peores que la competencia porque no hab\u00eda posibilidad de compararlos. Pero s\u00ed que es sorprendente la diferencia que hay respecto a uno de verano. Quien haya tenido la desagradable experiencia de verse al volante patinando sin control en una carretera o calle se har\u00e1 una idea precisa de la bien que va el de invierno.<br \/>\nPor \u00faltimo querr\u00eda aclarar una cosa. Los neum\u00e1ticos de invierno est\u00e1n permitidos en sustituci\u00f3n de las inc\u00f3modas cadenas. Es decir, que cuando en una carretera la Guardia Civil obliga a circular con cadenas tambi\u00e9n permite el paso con neum\u00e1ticos de invierno. Digo esto porque la mayor\u00eda de coches con carrocer\u00eda de todoterreno montan unos neum\u00e1ticos denominados M+S (Mud+Snow, Barro+Nieve) y que, a pesar de la denominaci\u00f3n, esa etiqueta no significa que sean de invierno, aunque s\u00ed existen neum\u00e1ticos M+S que lo son.
