La novedad m\u00e1s importante es la\u00a0versi\u00f3n\u00a0<strong>320d EfficientDynamics Edition con carrocer\u00eda familiar (Touring)<\/strong>,\u00a0que se distingue por tener un <strong>consumo muy bajo<\/strong> (4,3 l\/100 km). Hasta ahora, s\u00f3lo estaba disponible con carrocer\u00eda Berlina.<br \/>\nLleva una variante del motor 2,0 l Diesel de 184 CV del 320d, pero con la potencia rebajada a <strong>163 CV<\/strong>. Con este motor de 163 CV, el Serie 3 tiene unas prestaciones buenas: alcanza 225 km\/h de velocidad m\u00e1xima y acelera de 0 a 100 km\/h en 8,2 s.<br \/>\nEl consumo es excelente: 4,1 l\/100 km (que equivale a 109 g\/km de CO2) en la berlina y 4,3 l en el Touring. <strong>No hay ning\u00fan modelo semejante que consuma menos<\/strong> de 4,5 l\/100 km.<br \/>\nComo otras versiones del Serie 3, lleva un sistema de recuperaci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda de frenado, una <strong>funci\u00f3n de parada y arranque autom\u00e1ticos del motor<\/strong> y un indicador para recomendar cu\u00e1ndo cambiar de marcha.<br \/>\nDe tal forma, la gama Serie 3 con motores Diesel de cuatro cilindros quedar\u00e1 compuesta por cuatro variantes del 2,0 l Diesel: 316d (115 CV), 318d (143 CV), 320d EfficientDynamics Edition (163 CV) y 320d (184 CV). Los de seis cilindros son tres: 325d (204 CV), 330d (245 CV) y 335d (286 CV).<br \/>\nEn la gama de gasolina, desde\u00a0mediados de 2010,\u00a0el <strong>motor de las versiones 335i (306 CV)<\/strong> lleva distribuci\u00f3n variable \u00abValvetronic\u00bb, con lo que se <strong>reduce casi un 10 % el consumo<\/strong> de combustible.
