El diario de Themis (III), Etapa 1."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ya hemos finalizado la primera etapa. Las cosas han ido en teor\u00eda muy bien y en la pr\u00e1ctica muy mal. Os cuento lo que pensaba Themis a las seis de la tarde, ah\u00ed va su v\u00eddeo cr\u00f3nica.<br \/>\n[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=k_ZwAZR20v0]<br \/>\nY esto es lo que ha ocurrido en la cena:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3237\" title=\"clasificacion-D1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/clasificacion-D1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"120\" \/><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nOs lo intento explicar. La jornada consist\u00eda en un tramo de enlace de unos 185 km y una especial de 87 km. En el tramo de enlace, que era por carretera, hab\u00eda que localizar unos lugares que aparec\u00edan en unas fotos que la organizaci\u00f3n nos hab\u00eda dado impresas y apuntar el kil\u00f3metro en el que estaban. Eran unas 40 y nosotros ubicamos 27. Hemos sido los cuartos en este aspecto.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3230\" title=\"IMG_0310\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/IMG_0310.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" \/><br \/>\nLa etapa especial era fuera del asfalto. Hab\u00eda que llegar al destino siguiendo las indicaciones de un rut\u00f3metro y un GPS (sin mapas) que ayudaba para seguir los rumbos y que tambi\u00e9n ten\u00eda memorizados algunos waypoint (puntos de paso obligatorios).<br \/>\nTambi\u00e9n puntuaba, con factor doble en el caso de hoy, el consumo. Los primeros kil\u00f3metros los hicimos detr\u00e1s de otros coches, lo que nos sirvi\u00f3 de ayuda para familiarizarnos con el rut\u00f3metro y el gps. Esta zona hab\u00eda que cruzar varios oueds (r\u00edos secos) para lo cual hab\u00eda que encontrar el sitio por donde se pod\u00eda hacer. Nuestro monstruo de casi 5,4 metros de longitud se port\u00f3 muy bien a pesar de que hab\u00eda zonas donde semejante tama\u00f1o complicaba un poquito el asunto.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3236\" title=\"primeros\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/primeros.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" \/><br \/>\nA partir del km 15 nos pusimos los primeros posici\u00f3n que aguantamos hasta la parte de pistas r\u00e1pida en las que nos dieron alcance dos Toyota HDJ del equipo \u201cAlmer\u00eda\u201d. Por cierto, la velocidad m\u00e1xima en la prueba est\u00e1 limitada a 80 km\/h. Y desde entonces fuimos los tres coches juntos hasta el final.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3232\" title=\"IMG_0331\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/IMG_0331.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" \/><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nLlegamos al punto de control content\u00edsimos. Solo nos hab\u00edamos perdido una vez y a\u00fan con ello hab\u00edamos llegado los primeros (los dos Toyota hab\u00edan salido dos minutos antes). Craso error, cuando nos entregan la clasificaci\u00f3n por la noche y vemos que somos s\u00e9ptimos nos quedamos muy chafados.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3234\" title=\"IMG_0339\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/IMG_0339.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" \/><br \/>\nPrimera pardillada: resulta que da igual llegar primero o \u00faltimo, lo \u00fanico que contabiliza para la navegaci\u00f3n es recorrer menos metros. Nosotros hicimos 91,6 km, el ganador 90,7. Finalmente fuimos los quintos.<br \/>\nBueno, cuartos en lo de las fotos y quintos en la navegaci\u00f3n habr\u00eda sido un estreno honrroso, sino fuese por el consumo. Fuimos los cuartos que menos gastamos, con 9,8 litros. El que menos hizo 8,7, el que m\u00e1s 13,7. Pero con los factores de correcci\u00f3n nos quedamos en 12,9 litros. Como el consumo ayer puntuaba doble (esto var\u00eda con la etapa), la puntuaci\u00f3n total que hemos tenido han sido de solo 245 (70 de las fotos+65 de la navegaci\u00f3n+55*2 del consumo).<br \/>\n[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HfiF09xBk7w]<br \/>\nAs\u00ed que ma\u00f1ana martes nos toca espabilar. La segunda etapa es de navegaci\u00f3n por rumbos, sin waypoints que sirvan de ayuda. Va a ser mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil equivocarse y por tanto, recorrer m\u00e1s distancia de la \u00f3ptima. Al menos, ahora sabemos que no sirve de nada tardar poco, as\u00ed que intentaremos bajar el ritmo para llegar dentro del tiempo m\u00e1ximo permitido, a ver si reducimos el consumo.<br \/>\nCreo que con el consumo vamos a tenerlo dif\u00edcil. El hasta ahora \u00fanico inconveniente que le estamos notando al Ranger es que el motor tiene pocos bajos y en cuanto baja de 2000 rpm tenemos que reducir marchas, lo que supone aumentar el consumo.
