Estar\u00e1 a la venta en oto\u00f1o de 2009.<br \/>\nPara cumplir con los requisitos de la clase GT3, tiene tracci\u00f3n a las ruedas traseras en vez de total como tiene la versi\u00f3n de calle.<br \/>\nEl motor es una evoluci\u00f3n del 4,2 l FSI del R8, con la potencia aumentada hasta unos 500 CV. El cambio es autom\u00e1tico de seis velocidades y tiene accionamiento secuencial.
