Pero como todo ello toma su tiempo, os cuento un peque\u00f1o experimento que hice con \u00e9l.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los motores el\u00e9ctricos son muy eficientes. La inmensa mayor\u00eda de la energ\u00eda que reciben la convierten en movimiento y muy poca en calor. Eso es bueno, sin duda, pero <strong>en d\u00edas fr\u00edos se plantea el problema de c\u00f3mo conseguir el calor<\/strong> necesario para que tanto el sistema propulsor como el conductor puedan funcionar correctamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El problema no es tanto c\u00f3mo generar ese calor, sino <strong>c\u00f3mo hacerlo de la manera m\u00e1s eficiente<\/strong>. La eficiencia energ\u00e9tica es fundamental en cualquier autom\u00f3vil, pero m\u00e1s a\u00fan en un veh\u00edculo el\u00e9ctrico porque, a d\u00eda de hoy, recuperar la electricidad gastada en una estaci\u00f3n de recarga es mucho m\u00e1s lento que hacerlo a trav\u00e9s de un carburante como la gasolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se suelen utilizar <strong>resistencias PTC<\/strong> para generar el calor necesario en el habit\u00e1culo y el sistema propulsor, aunque cada vez se est\u00e1 extendiendo m\u00e1s el uso de la <strong>bomba de calor<\/strong>, que es considerablemente m\u00e1s eficiente. El Volkswagen ID.3 puede llevar uno u otro sistema, siendo la bomba un elemento opcional que cuesta 1350 euros y que no dispon\u00eda nuestra unidad de prueba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras la borrasca Filomena, en Madrid se sucedieron varios d\u00edas de mucho fr\u00edo, con <strong>temperaturas bien por debajo de los cero grados cent\u00edgrados<\/strong>. Aprovech\u00e9 esta circunstancia para hacer un simple experimento con el objetivo de comprobar cu\u00e1nta energ\u00eda extra invierte un Volkswagen ID.3 en poner todo el veh\u00edculo a la temperatura id\u00f3nea de trabajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Queda todo explicado en el siguiente v\u00eddeo y los resultados se pueden consultar en la tabla que hay al final<\/strong>, pero lo resumo a continuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Volkswagen ID.3 - Consumo en fr\u00edo | km77.com\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TeGFWj3_VhY?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Hice tres veces un mismo <strong>recorrido de 40 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong>, de los cuales unos 35 (un 88 %) transcurrieron por la autov\u00eda M-50 y el resto por v\u00edas de acceso y calles de Las Rozas de Madrid. Utilic\u00e9 la M-50 porque era una carretera transitable y segura en ese momento (en los primeros d\u00edas de enero de 2021 muchas calles de la Comunidad de Madrid estaban repletas de nieve y hielo) y porque con el poco tr\u00e1fico que hab\u00eda podr\u00eda realizar una conducci\u00f3n constante a lo largo de todo el experimento. Mi velocidad por la M-50 fue de en torno a <strong>95 km\/h<\/strong>, llev\u00e9 conectado el <strong>climatizador en modo Auto a 21 \u00baC<\/strong> y el programa de conducci\u00f3n seleccionado fue <strong>Comfort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La primera de las tres repeticiones la inici\u00e9 con el coche fr\u00edo, tras dejarlo una noche entera expuesto a temperaturas inferiores a -4,0 \u00baC. Cuando acced\u00ed al habit\u00e1culo por la ma\u00f1ana, este se encontraba a -3,5 \u00baC seg\u00fan un term\u00f3metro de mano que dej\u00e9 en el interior. Entre que coloqu\u00e9 las c\u00e1maras, grab\u00e9 una peque\u00f1a introducci\u00f3n y sal\u00ed de la plaza de aparcamiento hacia el punto de comienzo, <strong>la temperatura en el habit\u00e1culo subi\u00f3 a -1,8 \u00baC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El consumo tras la primera vuelta fue de <strong>22,2 kWh\/100 km<\/strong>. En ese momento el veh\u00edculo ya hab\u00eda logrado la mayor\u00eda del calor que necesitaba para un funcionamiento \u00f3ptimo y eso se not\u00f3 en los resultados de las dos siguientes vueltas. En la segunda, el consumo baj\u00f3 a <strong>17,0 kWh \/100 km<\/strong> y en la tercera y \u00faltima, se qued\u00f3 en <strong>16,5 kWh\/100 km<\/strong>.
