{"id":31523,"date":"2020-05-19T12:15:38","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T10:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.km77.com\/engendromecanico\/?p=31523"},"modified":"2021-03-31T19:46:37","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T17:46:37","slug":"el-neumatico-y-la-velocidad-en-la-prueba-de-esquiva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/el-neumatico-y-la-velocidad-en-la-prueba-de-esquiva\/","title":{"rendered":"El neum\u00e1tico y la velocidad en la prueba de esquiva"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El neum\u00e1tico determina, junto a otros muchos factores, c\u00f3mo de bien o mal supera un coche la maniobra de esquiva y la velocidad a la que lo consigue. Desde que empezamos a realizar esta prueba en mayo de 2016, <strong>200 coches han pasado este ensayo<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLrt8jdAATECUSFXiGsyO5pW_Nqqgnh3rH\">listado de v\u00eddeos de la prueba de esquiva<\/a>). En esta entrada analizamos cu\u00e1l ha sido la velocidad media de \u00e9xito en este ejercicio seg\u00fan la marca y el modelo de neum\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Conviene aclarar que los veh\u00edculos los <strong>probamos con el neum\u00e1tico que trae de f\u00e1brica<\/strong>, excepto que el departamento correspondiente de cada marca, por el motivo que sea (por ejemplo, desgaste), decida sustituirlo y poner otro de especificaciones diferentes. Ha ocurrido, m\u00e1s de una vez, que nos entregan un coche con neum\u00e1ticos diferentes en cada eje de ruedas. En cualquier caso, nosotros no tenemos ning\u00fan tipo de influencia a este respecto m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de comprobar que las presiones de inflado sean las correctas. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/full-19-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31582\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\"\/><figcaption>La prueba de esquiva es muy exigente con los neum\u00e1ticos y en algunos de ellos puede producir un desgaste severo. En la imagen, un Ford Fiesta ST 2018 con Michelin Pilot Super Sport, que super\u00f3 la prueba a 80 km\/h. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Para realizar este estudio hemos\nseleccionado aquellos neum\u00e1ticos de los que tenemos, como m\u00ednimo, tres datos de\nvelocidad. Son datos obtenidos con coches diferentes, que no tienen porqu\u00e9 ser\nsemejantes entre s\u00ed y que pueden pertenecer a categor\u00edas totalmente distintas. Tampoco\nhemos considerado en este an\u00e1lisis las medidas que llevaba cada coche. No\nobstante, toda esa informaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 disponible al final de este art\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Son dieciocho los modelos de neum\u00e1tico que cumplen con dicho criterio<\/strong> y 127 los coches en los que iban montados. De esos dieciocho neum\u00e1ticos, hay tres espec\u00edficamente destinados a veh\u00edculos de tipo <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"crossover (se abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/glosario\/crossover\" target=\"_blank\">crossover<\/a> <\/strong>y <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/glosario\/suv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"SUV (se abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\">SUV<\/a><\/strong>, si bien tienen un dibujo y una composici\u00f3n pensada para un uso en asfalto. Para confeccionarlo se utilizan c\u00e1lculos estad\u00edsticos distintos de la media, como la mediana y los cuartiles, que no usaremos en el resto del art\u00edculo. No obstante, es una representaci\u00f3n visual que ayuda a ver la distribuci\u00f3n de los datos para cada neum\u00e1tico. <\/p>\n\n\n[ngg src=\u00bbgalleries\u00bb ids=\u00bb903&#8243; display=\u00bbbasic_thumbnail\u00bb override_thumbnail_settings=\u00bb1&#8243; thumbnail_width=\u00bb1451&#8243; thumbnail_height=\u00bb796&#8243; images_per_page=\u00bb1&#8243;]\n\n\n<p>Los veh\u00edculos equipados con <strong>Michelin Pilot Super Sport <\/strong>son los que consiguen, de media, las velocidades de entrada m\u00e1s elevadas. Este es un neum\u00e1tico de altas prestaciones, del que Michelin dice que ha sido \u00abdise\u00f1ado espec\u00edficamente para los superdeportivos\u00bb. Todos los veh\u00edculos que lo llevaban eran, en mayor o menor medida, deportivos. Un par de ejemplos son el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/ford\/fiesta\/2017\/5-puertas\/st\/informacion\">Ford Fiesta ST 2018<\/a> (80 km\/h) y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/lexus\/lc\/2017\/estandar\/informacion\">Lexus LC 500h 2017<\/a> (75 km\/h, el m\u00e1s lento con este neum\u00e1tico). <\/p>\n\n\n<p>El <strong>Michelin Pilot Sport 4<\/strong> ocupa la segunda plaza. Es un neum\u00e1tico de orientaci\u00f3n deportiva, aunque no tanto como el\u00a0Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Tenemos catorce valores de velocidad con Pilot Sport 4, uno de ellos muy bajo (69 km\/h, correspondiente a un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/kia\/niro\/2016\/estandar\/informacion\">Kia Niro 1.6 HEV 2016<\/a>) y otros dos muy altos (83 km\/h, conseguidos con un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/ford\/focus\/2018\/berlina\/informacion\">Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost Berlina 125 CV 2018<\/a> y un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/tesla\/model-3\/2018\/sedan\/informacion\">Tesla Model 3 Gran Autonom\u00eda 2018<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n<p>El valor de 69 km\/h est\u00e1 por debajo del l\u00edmite inferior, que hemos establecido como la media menos 1,5 veces la desviaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar (72 km\/h, \u03c3=3,5), pero es un valor at\u00edpico leve en tanto que no se aleja m\u00e1s de tres veces la desviaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar (es decir, no es inferior a 67 km\/h). El valor de 83 km\/h es justo el l\u00edmite superior (definido como la media m\u00e1s 1,5 veces la desviaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar), por lo que por poco no entra dentro de la categor\u00eda de at\u00edpico. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/full-18-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31576\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\"\/><figcaption>A pesar de tener Michelin Pilot Sport 4, un neum\u00e1tico de gran rendimiento, con el Kia Niro 2016 no logramos realizar la esquiva sin tirar conos a m\u00e1s de 69 km\/h. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Son cinco los neum\u00e1ticos que consiguen una media de 77 km\/h. Uno de ellos es el <strong>Pirelli Scorpion Verde<\/strong>, un modelo destinado a SUV y crossover. De hecho, todos los veh\u00edculos con este Pirelli son de ese tipo, como el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/ford\/edge\/2016\/estandar\/informacion\">Ford Edge 2016<\/a> (74 km\/h) y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/audi\/q5\/2017\/estandar\/informacion\">Audi Q5 2017<\/a> (81 km\/h). Con este \u00faltimo conseguimos una velocidad de entrada muy elevada en una pasada fluida, es decir, sin una intervenci\u00f3n brusca de las ayudas electr\u00f3nicas. No sucedi\u00f3 lo mismo con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/volkswagen\/tiguan\/2016\/estandar\/informacion\">Volkswagen Tiguan 2016<\/a>, que tambi\u00e9n entr\u00f3 a una velocidad alta, 78 km\/h, pero el control de estabilidad tuvo una actuaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s severa y fren\u00f3 mucho al coche.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>En la muestra de datos del <strong>Goodyear Asymmetric 3<\/strong>, compuesta por siete valores, hay uno particularmente bajo, el del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/tesla\/model-x\/2016\/estandar\/informacion\">Tesla Model X 2016<\/a>, con el que superamos la esquiva a 70 km\/h. Es un valor at\u00edpico de grado leve, es decir, que est\u00e1 por debajo del l\u00edmite inferior, calculado como la media menos 1,5 veces la desviaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar (71 km\/h, \u03c3=3,5).<\/p>\n\n\n<p>El <strong>Michelin Primacy 3<\/strong> es el del que m\u00e1s datos tenemos, dieciocho. Hay dos que consideramos at\u00edpicos leves. Uno por ser muy bajo (72  km\/h, con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/bmw\/serie-5\/2017\/touring\/informacion\">BMW Serie 5 Touring 2017<\/a>) y otro por ser muy alto (81 km\/h, con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/opel\/grandland-x\/2018\/estandar\/informacion\">Opel Grandland X 2018<\/a>). La desviaci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar (\u03c3) de la muestra del Primacy 3 es 2,6, el l\u00edmite inferior 73  km\/h y el superior, 80 km\/h. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/full-17-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31574\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\"\/><figcaption>Los neum\u00e1ticos de este Opel Grandland X 2018 son Michelin Primacy 3. Con este coche hicimos la esquiva a 81 km\/h, una velocidad muy alta.  <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>El <strong>Bridgestone Potenza S001<\/strong> lo hemos probado en coches tan diferentes como un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/audi\/tt\/2019\/roadster\/informacion\">Audi TT Roadster 2019<\/a> (76 km\/h) y un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/volkswagen\/t-roc\/2018\/estandar\/informacion\">Volkswagen T-Roc 2018<\/a> (74 km\/h). Uno de ellos, el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/fiat\/124-spider\/2016\/estandar\/informacion\">Fiat 124 Spider 2016<\/a>, super\u00f3 la esquiva a 81 km\/h, una velocidad muy alta que resulta llamativa por la diferencia con un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/mazda\/mx-5\/2015\/roadster\/informacion\">Mazda MX-5 2015<\/a> que, con otro neum\u00e1tico que veremos m\u00e1s adelante, lleg\u00f3 a s\u00f3lo 75 km\/h. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Del <strong>Continental ContiSportContact 6<\/strong> solo disponemos, por el momento, de tres valores. Los dos m\u00e1s altos pertenecen a veh\u00edculos de altas prestaciones (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/honda\/civic\/2017\/5-puertas\/type-r-gt\/informacion\">Honda Civic Type R 2017<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/audi\/a4\/2016\/avant\/rs-4\/informacion\">Audi RS 4 Avant 2018<\/a>, a 78 y 79  km\/h respectivamente) y el restante a un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/audi\/a4\/2020\/allroad\/informacion\">Audi A4 allroad 2020<\/a> (75 km\/h). <\/p>\n\n\n<p>En la zona de los 76 km\/h hay cuatro modelos de neum\u00e1tico. Uno de ellos es el <strong>Pirelli PZero<\/strong>. Con \u00e9l tenemos un registro de velocidad muy alto, 82 km\/h, que lo logramos con un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/porsche\/911\/2016\/coupe\/turbo\/informacion\">Porsche 911 Turbo S 2016<\/a>. Es un valor at\u00edpico, que est\u00e1 ligeramente por encima del l\u00edmite superior (81 km\/h, \u03c3=2,7).<\/p>\n\n\n<p>En este grupo tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 el <strong>Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 SUV<\/strong>, dise\u00f1ado para veh\u00edculos SUV y crossover. Es curioso que quede por encima del <strong>Hankook Ventus S1 evo2<\/strong> (media de 75 km\/h), una versi\u00f3n pensada para turismos y clasificada por la propia Hankook como de \u00abaltas prestaciones y buque insignia\u00bb. En cualquier caso, todav\u00eda tenemos pocos datos de estos modelos (cuatro de los evo2 SUV y tres de los evo2). <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/full-16-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31568\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\"\/><figcaption> El Alfa Romeo Giulia 2016 con el que hicimos la esquiva llevaba Pirelli Cinturato P7. Super\u00f3 la prueba a 78 km\/h, una velocidad por encima de la media para este neum\u00e1tico.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>El <strong>ContiEcoContact 5<\/strong> est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para, seg\u00fan Continental, ofrecer \u00abla m\u00e1xima eficiencia de combustible y una mayor resistencia al desgaste\u00bb. Es, por tanto, un neum\u00e1tico en el que prima la eficiencia y la durabilidad frente el agarre. La velocidad media con este neum\u00e1tico es de 75 km\/h y los veh\u00edculos en los que los hemos probado son de tama\u00f1o mediano y peque\u00f1o, como el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/fiat\/tipo\/2016\/5-puertas\/informacion\">Fiat Tipo 5p 2016<\/a> (72 km\/h) y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/hyundai\/i10\/2017\/estandar\/informacion\">Hyundai i10 2017<\/a> (77 km\/h).<\/p>\n\n\n<p>En el grupo con media de 75 km\/h tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 el <strong>Pirelli Cinturato P7<\/strong>. Entre los veh\u00edculos que lo han llevado sobresale el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/alfa-romeo\/giulia\/2016\/estandar\/informacion\">Alfa Romeo Giulia 2016<\/a>, con el que conseguimos realizar la esquiva a 78 km\/h. Es un valor que est\u00e1 claramente por encima de la media (75 km\/h) y que coincide justo con el l\u00edmite superior (78  km\/h, \u03c3=1,9). <\/p>\n\n\n<p>En la regi\u00f3n de los 74 km\/h hay tres modelos. De ellos destacamos el <strong>Michelin Pilot Sport 3<\/strong>, un neum\u00e1tico de tipo \u00abaltas prestaciones\u00bb con el que hemos obtenido resultados mediocres. La velocidad m\u00e1s alta con \u00e9l fue 75 km\/h, que la logramos con tres modelos: un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/citroen\/c3\/2013\/5-puertas\/informacion\">Citro\u00ebn C3 2013<\/a>, un Mazda MX-5 2015 y un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/mazda\/mazda3\/2017\/5-puertas\/informacion\">Mazda3 2017<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>La \u00faltima posici\u00f3n en esta clasificaci\u00f3n la ocupa, de forma clara, el <strong>Bridgestone Turanza T005<\/strong>. Este neum\u00e1tico lo hemos probado en cinco coches y, en el mejor de los casos, la velocidad de entrada ha sido de 74 km\/h, con un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/nissan\/micra\/2017\/5-puertas\/informacion\">Nissan Micra 2017<\/a>. En el peor, ha sido 66 km\/h, con un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/coches\/mercedes\/cla\/2019\/coupe\/informacion\">Mercedes-Benz CLA Coup\u00e9 2019<\/a>. Este \u00faltimo dato est\u00e1 justo en el l\u00edmite inferior (\u03c3=3,1). Es el neum\u00e1tico de peor rendimiento de los aqu\u00ed citados. Incluso siendo ben\u00e9volo, haciendo una excepci\u00f3n y eliminando el dato de 66 km\/h, la media seguir\u00eda siendo la m\u00e1s baja de todas (72 km\/h). <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Seguiremos realizando m\u00e1s pruebas de esquiva y engrosando nuestra base de datos para hacer estudios estad\u00edsticos m\u00e1s robustos.
