Recientemente hemos visto una encarecida lucha entre SEAT, Renault y Honda, pero es Volkswagen con el <strong>Golf GTI Clubsport S<\/strong> quien ha realizado la vuelta m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida.<br \/>\nEl exclusivo biplaza \u2014solo se fabricar\u00e1n 400 unidades\u2014 est\u00e1 basado en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/volkswagen\/golf\/gti\/2013\/vw-golf-gti-gtd-precio.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Golf GTI Clubsport<\/a>, al igual que este tiene un motor de 2,0 litros de cilindrada aunque con cambios \u2014Volkswagen ha retocado la unidad electr\u00f3nica de control del motor, ha instalado una bomba de combustible de mayor capacidad y ha incrementado el di\u00e1metro de las salidas de escape de 55 a 65 mil\u00edmetros\u2014 para que la potencia m\u00e1xima aumente hasta los 310 CV. El cambio es siempre manual de seis velocidades y la tracci\u00f3n es en las ruedas delanteras.<br \/>\nEl peso del conjunto ha disminuido hasta los 1360 kilogramos \u2014no hay banqueta trasera ni material aislante, se ha utilizado m\u00e1s aluminio, la bater\u00eda es m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a y los asientos son tipo baquet\u2014. Otras modificaciones son: un sistema de frenos m\u00e1s potente, una barra de refuerzo entre las torretas de la suspensi\u00f3n delantera, una jaula de protecci\u00f3n en caso de vuelco y una suspensi\u00f3n puesta a punto. Los neum\u00e1ticos son <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michelin.es\/neumaticos\/michelin-pilot-sport-cup-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michelin Sport Cup 2<\/a> (semi-slicks), miden 235\/35 y van montados sobre llantas de 19 pulgadas.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-27833\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/files\/2016\/05\/golf-gti-clubsport-s-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"golf-gti-clubsport-s (2)\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><br \/>\nEl Golf GTI Clubsport S puede acelerar de 0 a 100 km\/h en 5,8 segundos y alcanzar una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 265 km\/h (no est\u00e1 limitada). El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/volkswagen\/golf\/gti\/2013\/vw-golf-gti-gtd-precio.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Golf GTI Performance<\/a> (230 CV) necesita 6,4 segundos para llegar a 100 km\/h desde parado, mientras que el Clubsport (265 CV llegando durante 10 segundos a 290 CV) tarda 5,9 segundos. El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/volkswagen\/golf\/r\/2014\/consumo-precio-299993-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Golf R<\/a>, a pesar de ser 10 CV menos potente y pesar m\u00e1s (1476 kg), es m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido acelerando debido a su sistema de tracci\u00f3n total (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/precios\/comparador\/comparar\/53652\/43295\/52457\/45079\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ficha comparativa de todas las versiones citadas<\/a>).<br \/>\nEl r\u00e9cord en la categor\u00eda de veh\u00edculos con tracci\u00f3n delantera es uno de los m\u00e1s codiciados. Hace poco fue SEAT con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/seat\/leon\/cupra\/2014\/informacion-motor-precio-306189-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Le\u00f3n CUPRA<\/a> quien marc\u00f3 un tiempo de 7 minutos y 58 segundos (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/\/22088\/seat-leon-cupra-video-de-la-vuelta-a-nordschleife\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">te lo contamos en esta entrada<\/a>). Renault consigui\u00f3 bajar el tiempo hasta los 7:54 segundos (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/\/23427\/nuevo-renault-megane-rs-275-trophy-r-el-mas-radical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqu\u00ed puedes verlo<\/a>) con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/renault\/megane\/2014\/rs-trophy-informacion-312247-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e9gane RS 275 Trophy-R<\/a> . Poco despu\u00e9s Honda registr\u00f3 un tiempo de 7:50.63 con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/honda\/civic\/type-r\/2015\/informacion-motor-precio-317369-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Civic Type R<\/a>. Y ahora, el piloto alem\u00e1n <strong>Benny Leuchter a los mandos del Golf GTI Clubsport S bate el r\u00e9cord de N\u00fcrburgring con un tiempo de 7 minutos 49 segundos y 21 d\u00e9cimas<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-27834\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/files\/2016\/05\/volkswagen-gti-clubsport-s2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"volkswagen-gti-clubsport-s(2)\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><br \/>\nEl Golf GTI Clubsport S tiene varios modos predefinidos que permiten modificar los ajustes de los escapes, del motor, de la direcci\u00f3n y del sistema de suspensi\u00f3n adaptativa DCC \u2014que forma parte del equipamiento de serie\u2014. Estos son: Comfort, Normal y Race. Los modelos de Volkswagen, como el Golf R, que tienen diferentes modos de ajuste tienen un cuarto denominado Individual en el que el usuario ajusta cada par\u00e1metro a su gusto. En el GTI Clubsport S este modo ha sido sustituido por el llamado N\u00fcrburgring-Setting (aunque el usuario puede modificarlo y volver a estos ajustes cuando lo necesite). Este modo ha sido desarrollado por los ingenieros de Volkswagen para que el veh\u00edculo sea m\u00e1s bien blando de suspensi\u00f3n y as\u00ed poder absorber los numerosos desniveles del suelo con el fin de obtener un guiado perfecto de las ruedas sobre la carretera, manteniendo el resto de ajustes en modo Race. Tambi\u00e9n se ha reconfigurado las ayudas electr\u00f3nicas para que su intervenci\u00f3n sea menos restrictiva. Seg\u00fan Volkswagen consiguen que el GTI Clubsport S se adapte perfectamente a las particulares condiciones del circuito alem\u00e1n.<br \/>\nUn circuito diferente al resto, en el que existen multitud de grandes ondulaciones del terreno y desniveles de la superficie, con un abultado n\u00famero de curvas.
