Su peso es de 3850 kg.<\/strong><br \/>\nEl chasis se basa principalmente en el del Clase G, aunque con algunas diferencias como los muelles helicoidales y los amortiguadores que se han ajustado para tener en cuenta las caracter\u00edsticas del modelo de tres ejes.<br \/>\n<strong>Im\u00e1genes G63 AMG 6&#215;6:<\/strong><br \/>\n[nggallery id=277]<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nEl primer eje posterior tiene una tasa de resorte significativamente m\u00e1s dura y el segundo eje trasero una m\u00e1s blanda. <strong>Los tres ejes son capaces de moverse de forma independiente<\/strong>, Mercedes-Benz asegura que el 6&#215;6 tiene la m\u00e1xima conexi\u00f3n con el suelo, a pesar de tener una distancia entre los dos ejes traseros (que son capaces de asumir \u00e1ngulos de articulaci\u00f3n completamente opuestos) de s\u00f3lo 1100 mm \u2014la total es de 4220 mm\u2014.<br \/>\n<strong>El motor del G 63 AMG 6&#215;6 es el mismo que utiliza el Clase G AMG:\u00a0 motor desarrollado por AMG, V8 biturbo de inyecci\u00f3n directa de 5,5 litros que da una potencia de 544 CV y tiene un par motor de 760 Nm.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>La caja de cambios es autom\u00e1tica \u00abAMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC\u00bb<\/strong>. Se combina con el sistema de tracci\u00f3n delantera del G 63 AMG y un tren trasero de accionamiento doble utilizado por ejemplo en el ej\u00e9rcito australiano.<br \/>\nSu velocidad m\u00e1xima est\u00e1 limitada electr\u00f3nicamente a 160 km\/h. El consumo medio es de 18 l\/100 km, por ello, a la <strong>capacidad del dep\u00f3sito de combustible<\/strong> de 96 litros del Clase G est\u00e1ndar, se le ha a\u00f1adido un dep\u00f3sito auxiliar de 63 litros \u2014<strong>un total de 159 litros<\/strong>\u2014.<br \/>\n<strong>Im\u00e1genes G63 AMG 6&#215;6:<\/strong><br \/>\n[nggallery id=278]<br \/>\nGracias a un potente compresor y a cuatro dep\u00f3sitos de aire de 20 litros de capacidad situados en los lados de los arcos de las ruedas traseras, <strong>es posible ajustar la presi\u00f3n de los seis neum\u00e1ticos de 37 pulgadas de forma independiente<\/strong>. Se puede realizar en cualquier momento sin bajarse del veh\u00edculo utilizando unos interruptores que se han situado en una consola en el techo.<br \/>\nSeg\u00fan informa Mercedes-Benz, <strong>la principal caracter\u00edstica es que el nuevo modelo no utiliza los habituales ejes r\u00edgidos<\/strong>. A diferencia de estos \u2014donde las ruedas est\u00e1n centradas en el eje\u2014, el eje de las ruedas es significativamente m\u00e1s alto gracias a que los engranajes est\u00e1n situados en la cabeza de dicho eje. <strong>Como resultado, la distancia al suelo del G 63 AMG 6&#215;6 aumenta a 460 mm <\/strong>(en el Clase G est\u00e1ndar es de 210 mm)<strong> y la profundidad de vadeo aumenta a 1000 mm <\/strong>(producci\u00f3n del Clase G est\u00e1ndar: 600 mm)<strong>.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>El G63 AMG 6&#215;6 dispone de cinco bloqueos de diferencial que se pueden accionar en movimiento.<\/strong> Todo el sistema es controlado el\u00e9ctricamente con los habituales tres interruptores situados en la consola central que se encuentran en todos los modelos de la Clase G.<br \/>\n<strong>Im\u00e1genes G63 AMG 6&#215;6:<\/strong><br \/>\n[nggallery id=285]<br \/>\nEn el exterior, <strong>la parrilla es similar a la utilizada por otros modelos AMG<\/strong> (2 lamas cromadas en el centro), tiene dos tiras de luces de diodos luminosos debajo de los faros \u2014funcionan como luces diurnas\u2014 y encima del parabrisas \u2014funcionan como luz de g\u00e1libo\u2014. <strong>Se ha utilizado fibra de carbono en las aletas delanteras y traseras.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>En el interior, la mayor diferencia la encontramos en las plazas traseras, donde hay dos asientos independientes con una consola central<\/strong>. Los cuatro asientos tienen regulaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica, calefacci\u00f3n y ventilaci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s est\u00e1n<strong> tapizados en cuero Designo negro y marr\u00f3n claro con costuras en color rojo<\/strong>. El techo y los pilares delanteros est\u00e1n tapizados en cuero Alc\u00e1ntara y la parte inferior del salpicadero puede ser de color rojo o marr\u00f3n claro.
