Como el Volt y el Ampera, es un h\u00edbrido que tiene un motor el\u00e9ctrico\u00a0y otro t\u00e9rmico.<br \/>\nLleva el mismo sistema el\u00e9ctrico que el Volt, aunque el propulsor el\u00e9ctrico es algo m\u00e1s potente. Tiene un <strong>motor el\u00e9ctrico de 120 kW<\/strong> (9 kW m\u00e1s que el Volt), que se alimenta\u00a0de la energ\u00eda almacenada en una bater\u00eda. La bater\u00eda tarda 3h en cargarse (en un enchufe de 230 V) y permite recorrer <strong>64 km<\/strong>.<br \/>\nSi se agota la bater\u00eda, entra en funcionamiento un<strong> motor t\u00e9rmico de 1,5 litros\u00a0de cilindrada<\/strong> (con m\u00e1s cilindrada y potencia que el del Volt), \u00a0cuya misi\u00f3n principal es alimentar el motor el\u00e9ctrico y, a la vez, cargar la bater\u00eda.
