En Europa, comenzar\u00e1n a venderse en mayo de 2009.<br \/>\nEn el caso del Exige S, Lotus tambi\u00e9n <strong>ha redise\u00f1ado el aspecto de la parte frontal y trasera<\/strong>, para mejorar la aerodin\u00e1mica. Ahora tiene un aler\u00f3n trasero de mayor tama\u00f1o, que est\u00e1 inspirado en el del prototipo Exige GT3. Respecto al aler\u00f3n que tiene el actual Exige S, el nuevo da m\u00e1s carga cuando se circula a una velocidad alta.<br \/>\nEl motor no cambia, aunque tiene mejoras para que el rendimiento sea mejor. Sigue alcanzando una potencia m\u00e1xima de 221 CV. Opcionalmente, se puede aumentar la potencia del motor hasta 244 CV, mediante un kit de potenciaci\u00f3n.<br \/>\nEl <strong>consumo medio ha disminuido en 0,6 l<\/strong> (8,5 l\/100 km). Las emisiones de CO2 ahora son de 199 g\/km.<br \/>\nEn las tres versiones del Elise, <strong>el consumo es un 9 por ciento menor que antes<\/strong>.
