Despu\u00e9s de 10 a\u00f1os y m\u00e1s de 100.000 unidades vendidas, a finales de 2009 se parar\u00e1 la producci\u00f3n del S2000. De momento, Honda no tiene prevista una nueva generaci\u00f3n del S2000.<br \/>\nEn conmemoraci\u00f3n a la historia del modelo, Honda lanzar\u00e1 una edici\u00f3n especial final de producci\u00f3n llamada \u00abUltimate Edition\u00bb, que ser\u00e1 presentada oficialmente en el Sal\u00f3n de Ginebra de 2009.<br \/>\nLleva el mismo motor que la versi\u00f3n normal: un cuatro cilindros atmosf\u00e9rico con 2,0 l de cilindrada y 241 CV de potencia m\u00e1xima. Con este motor, el S2000 alcanza una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 240 km\/h y acelera de 0 a 100 km en 6,2 s.<br \/>\nEl aspecto del S2000 \u00abUltimate Edition\u00bb se distingue por su color exterior blanco brillante y por unas llantas de 17\u201d en tonos grises.
