Es una capota de tela \u00abtipo Carlinga\u00bb, que est\u00e1 basada en la est\u00e9tica de los modelos \u00abTarga\u00bb.<br \/>\nAl igual que el 9-X, el Air lleva un motor turboalimentado de 1,4 l, que puede funcionar con gasolina o con E85 (o con cualquier mezcla de ambos combustibles).<br \/>\nAdem\u00e1s, este motor va complementado por un sistema h\u00edbrido, con un motor el\u00e9ctrico que se alimenta de la energ\u00eda almacenada en una bater\u00eda de iones de litio. Esta bater\u00eda se carga recuperando parte de la energ\u00eda de frenado, pero tambi\u00e9n puede emplearse el motor t\u00e9rmico para cargarla.<br \/>\nCuando funciona con E85, alcanza una potencia m\u00e1xima de 200 CV (con gasolina, la potencia m\u00e1xima es 170 CV). As\u00ed pues, con E85 puede acelerar desde 0 hasta 100 km\/h en 8,1 s y emite s\u00f3lo 107 g\/km de CO2.
