Lightning Car Company ya admite reservas y quiere entregar las primeras unidades en 2010, con un precio cercano a 200.000 \u20ac.<br \/>\nNo tiene motor t\u00e9rmico, sino cuatro motores el\u00e9ctricos (cada uno conectado a cada rueda), que en total alcanzan una potencia m\u00e1xima de 480 kW (654 CV). Cada motor tiene una potencia de salida de 120 kW y cuenta con un sistema regenerador de energ\u00eda (para recargar las bater\u00edas cuando se frena). Adem\u00e1s, hay un control de tracci\u00f3n independiente para cada rueda.<br \/>\nPara almacenar la energ\u00eda usa bater\u00edas \u00abNano-Safe\u00bb, que tienen un tiempo de vida estimado en m\u00e1s de 12 a\u00f1os\u00a0\u00f3 15.000 ciclos de carga.
