La variante destinada a Europa alcanza 78 CV de potencia m\u00e1xima (a 6.000 rpm). Para reducir el peso hasta unos 82 kg, el motor est\u00e1 construido casi totalmente en aluminio.<br \/>\nDe tal forma, el i10 1.2 consume 5 l\/100 km y emite 119 g\/km de CO2. Es decir, gasta lo mismo que el i10 1.1, que tiene 67 CV.<br \/>\nEntre los detalles mec\u00e1nicos que lo distinguen, el eje del cilindro y de la biela no son paralelos, sino que forman un peque\u00f1o \u00e1ngulo; seg\u00fan Hyundai, esto se traduce en una reducci\u00f3n de consumo, ruidos y vibraciones.
