Cinturones traseros con airbag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Siempre y cuando nadie d\u00e9 la sorpresa y se adelante, el Ford Mondeo que veremos en 2013 ser\u00e1 el primer veh\u00edculo que se venda en Europa con un airbag integrado en el cintur\u00f3n de seguridad. Ser\u00e1 una opci\u00f3n y s\u00f3lo podr\u00e1n aprovecharse de ella los dos pasajeros que ocupen las plazas laterales de la segunda fila.<br \/>\nEn Estados Unidos el Ford Mondeo 2013 lleva en venta desde hace unos meses \u2014aunque all\u00ed se llama Ford Fusion\u2014 y en la lista de opciones se encuentra este dispositivo y parece que ha tenido una buena acogida, ya que el 40 % de los clientes la piden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2568\" title=\"2102\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/2102.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A primera vista el cintur\u00f3n hinchable se reconoce, primero, porque la banda del t\u00f3rax es un poco m\u00e1s voluminosa \u2014es el lugar donde se aloja el airbag\u2014 y, segundo, porque la hebilla es m\u00e1s grande y tiene el aspecto de un tubo aplanado. En el interior de \u00e9ste hay unos orificios que se conectan con otros que hay en el correspondiente anclaje. En la zona baja del citado anclaje y, por supuesto, oculto a los ojos del ocupante, hay una ramificaci\u00f3n que termina en una peque\u00f1a botella met\u00e1lica llena de un gas a presi\u00f3n y cerrada por una membrana para evitar que \u00e9ste escape.<br \/>\n\u00bfQu\u00e9 sucede en caso de impacto? Ya sea \u00e9ste frontal o lateral, y siempre que los sensores juzguen necesario la activaci\u00f3n del dispositivo, la membrana que cierra la botella se rompe y el gas comprimido empieza a expandirse en la \u00fanica direcci\u00f3n que puede hacerlo, a trav\u00e9s de los orificios del anclaje y de la hebilla hacia el airbag. Hay algunas consideraciones interesantes sobre esta medida de seguridad, por ejemplo, el gas utilizado no se calienta al expandirse, evitando quemaduras, y el tiempo que necesita para inflar por completo la bolsa es un poco mayor al de los airbags frontales (entre 30 y 40 ms). El tama\u00f1o del airbag y su posici\u00f3n en la banda del cintur\u00f3n ser\u00e1 siempre la misma, por lo que el sistema no tiene capacidad para adaptarse a las diferentes complexiones. A pesar de ello, Ford dice que ellos no han detectado ning\u00fan problema en relaci\u00f3n a este aspecto.<br \/>\nEn el uso diario no habr\u00e1 apenas diferencias entre utilizar el cintur\u00f3n hinchable y el normal. De cualquier modo, hay que decir que las primeras tentativas para colocarse este cintur\u00f3n resultan un poco frustrantes: la hebilla est\u00e1 fija, no se desplaza a lo largo de la banda y, cuando la buscamos, hay que tirar la mano hacia abajo, no hacia arriba como solemos hacer.
