Los dise\u00f1adores de Volkswagen aceptaron el reto y el GTI Roadster, Vision Gran Turismo \u2014denominaci\u00f3n completa del prototipo\u2014 es el resultado. Presentado por primera vez en el famoso Festival de W\u00f6rthersee que se celebra en Austria del 28 al 31 de mayo. En este festival se pueden ver otros prototipos del Grupo VAG como el <a title=\"Volkswagen Golf R 400\" href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/volkswagen\/proto\/golf-r400-prototipo-\/informacion-salon-pekin-2014-311539-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Volkswagen Golf R 400<\/a>, el <a title=\"Audi A3 clubsport quattro\" href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/audi\/proto\/a3-clubsport-quattro-concept-prototipo-\/informacion-525-cv-312267-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Audi A3 sportclub quattro<\/a> o el <a title=\"SEAT Ibiza Cupster\" href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/seat\/proto\/ibiza-cupster-prototipo-\/2014\/informacion-datos-312365-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEAT Ibiza CUPSTAR<\/a>.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23118\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/gti-roadster4-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"VW GTI Roadster_Worthersee_1\" width=\"614\" height=\"411\" \/><br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nEl\u00a0GTI Roadster tiene un motor de gasolina de la familia \u00abTSI\u00bb de Volkswagen aunque en esta ocasi\u00f3n, es un seis cilindros en \u00abuve\u00bb, con 3,0 litros de cilindrada y doble turbocompresor que entrega una potencia de 503 CV y desarrolla un par motor m\u00e1ximo de 560 Nm entre 4000 y 6000 rpm, de los cuales 500 Nm ya est\u00e1n disponibles a partir de 2000 rpm.<br \/>\nEl motor est\u00e1 asociado a una caja de cambios de doble embrague (\u00abDSG\u00bb) de siete velocidades y a un sistema de tracci\u00f3n a las cuatro ruedas (4MOTION) con un diferencial trasero tipo \u00abHALDEX\u00bb.<br \/>\nVolkswagen comunica unas cifras de aceleraci\u00f3n y velocidad punta de gran deportivo. El GTI Roadster acelera desde parado hasta los 100 km\/h en 3,6 segundos y alcanza una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 309 km\/h. Para poder frenar con total seguridad, Volkswagen ha recurrido a unos frenos cer\u00e1micos de 380 mm en el eje delantero y de 356 mm en el posterior.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23119\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/gti-roadster5-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"VW GTI Roadster_Worthersee_2\" width=\"614\" height=\"411\" \/><br \/>\nEl GTI Roadster no emplea la plataforma modular \u00abMQB\u00bb del Grupo VAG \u2014utilizada en el <a title=\"Golf GTI\" href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/volkswagen\/golf\/gti\/2013\/vw-golf-gti-gtd-precio.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Golf GTI de serie<\/a>\u2014 sino que el prototipo tiene un monocasco fabricado en fibra de carbono. Seg\u00fan informan desde Volkswagen, los dise\u00f1adores tomaron esta decisi\u00f3n puesto que no hab\u00eda que ajustarse a unos costes de producci\u00f3n.<br \/>\nLa distancia entre ejes del prototipo es de 2494 mm, significativamente m\u00e1s corta que la del GTI de producci\u00f3n (2631 mm). Mide 1894mm de ancho, 4158 mm de largo y tiene una altura de solo 1090 mm. Es por tanto, 104 mm m\u00e1s ancho, 110 mm m\u00e1s corto y 352 mm m\u00e1s bajo que un Golf GTI con carrocer\u00eda de 3 puertas. El peso del conjunto es de 1420 kilogramos.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23121\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/gti-roadster31-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"GTI Roadster_Worthersee_3\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><br \/>\nEn la carrocer\u00eda hay elementos que cumplen una importante labor en el veh\u00edculo, como el enorme aler\u00f3n posterior que crea una fuerte carga aerodin\u00e1mica. Hay otros que son simplemente soluciones est\u00e9ticas, como las puertas, que giran hacia arriba y adelante. O la insignia GTI iluminada en los laterales. Las llantas de aleaci\u00f3n son de 20 pulgadas con neum\u00e1ticos de medida 235\/35 en el eje delantero y 275\/30 en el eje trasero.<br \/>\nLa carrocer\u00eda est\u00e1 pintada en rojo, seg\u00fan Volkswagen es \u00abuna nueva interpretaci\u00f3n del \u00abRojo Tornado\u00bb monocromo t\u00edpico del GTI\u00bb. Este nuevo color de tres capas ha sido bautizado con el nombre de \u00abGran Turismo Red\u00bb. Todos los componentes a\u00f1adidos est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados en carbono mate para crear un contraste con el rojo de la carrocer\u00eda. \u00danicamente la parrilla del radiador y la pantalla sobre la rejilla de ventilaci\u00f3n del compartimento del motor est\u00e1n acabadas en negro brillante.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=862]<br \/>\nEl interior del Golf GTI de producci\u00f3n se caracteriza por tener diversos elementos en color rojo \u2014por ejemplo, las costuras\u2014. En el prototipo los colores interiores se reducen al Negro y el Antracita junto con el carbono mate de la cabina (utilizado en el perfil del monocasco y los instrumentos).
