Mazda se ha limitado a decir que el objetivo es reducir el peso total del conjunto en m\u00e1s de 100 kg, que dispondr\u00e1 de un chasis m\u00e1s r\u00edgido y resistente a impactos y que el centro de gravedad del nuevo modelo ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s bajo. Tendr\u00e1 motores con tecnolog\u00eda Skyactiv (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/mazda\/mazda3\/2014\/tecnica-detalles-306163-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n<\/a>) estrenada en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/01\/mazda\/mazda3\/2014\/turismo-motor-equipamiento-precio-294425-p.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mazda3<\/a>, y como se puede observar en la imagen, el motor ser\u00e1 delantero pero situado en una posici\u00f3n muy retrasada permitiendo un reparto de pesos del 50:50. La tracci\u00f3n continuar\u00e1 siendo a las ruedas posteriores.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Mazda MX-5 25th Anniversary Edition<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[nggallery id=842]<br \/>\nLa segunda novedad de Mazda en el Sal\u00f3n de Nueva York es la edici\u00f3n especial \u00ab25th Anniversary Edition\u00bb. De momento, los detalles corresponden a la versi\u00f3n para el mercado norteamericano. Est\u00e1 basada en la versi\u00f3n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/mazda\/mx-5\/2009\/t01.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roadster Coup\u00e9<\/a>, es decir, la variante con carrocer\u00eda descapotable y techo r\u00edgido retr\u00e1ctil autom\u00e1tico.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=843]<br \/>\nTiene un motor de gasolina de 2,0 litros que desarrolla una potencia de 167 CV \u2014obtenidos a 7000 rpm\u2014 en combinaci\u00f3n con el cambio manual o 158 CV \u2014a 6700 rpm\u2014 con el cambio autom\u00e1tico tipo convertidor de par. En ambos casos, existen algunas mejoras en\u00a0 los pistones, en las bielas y en el volante de inercia que seg\u00fan informa Mazda, mejoran la aceleraci\u00f3n \u2014aunque no han facilitado datos sobre las prestaciones\u2014 y el sonido del motor es m\u00e1s contundente . Otra de las modificaciones de esta versi\u00f3n es que tienen amortiguadores Blistein.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=844]<br \/>\nEsta versi\u00f3n se diferencia del resto por el color especial de la carrocer\u00eda, denominado \u00abSoul Red Metallic\u00bb. El pilar A, las carcasas de los retrovisores, los arcos de seguridad y el techo est\u00e1n pintados en color negro brillante. Las llantas de aleaci\u00f3n de 17 pulgadas al igual que los faros tienen un acabado oscurecido.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=845]<br \/>\nEn el interior tambi\u00e9n hay diferencias, por ejemplo, la tapicer\u00eda es de cuero de color blanco con el logotipo bordado en los reposacabezas. Mazda ha utilizado hilo rojo para las costuras de los asientos, de los paneles de las puertas, del volante deportivo o de la palanca de cambios. Las inserciones en el salpicadero son del mismo color rojo oscuro de la carrocer\u00eda, aunque tambi\u00e9n hay peque\u00f1os elementos en negro brillante. Otro elemento espec\u00edfico es el cuadro de instrumentos que seg\u00fan informa Mazda, est\u00e1 pintado a mano, por lo que no existir\u00e1n dos iguales. Por \u00faltimo, tiene pedales y reposapi\u00e9s de acero inoxidable.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=846]<br \/>\nEl MX-5 25th Anniversary Edition ser\u00e1 una edici\u00f3n limitada. Mazda ha dise\u00f1ado una placa identificativa con el logotipo del modelo y el n\u00famero de la unidad, estar\u00e1n visibles en las aletas delanteras.
