Se trat\u00f3 del primer modelo de la marca con motor situado en la parte posterior y tracci\u00f3n trasera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22375\" alt=\"skoda 1000 MB -7\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/skoda-1000-MB-7-1024x683.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Desarrollado bajo el nombre interno NOV (\u00abNOV\u00dd OSOBN\u00cd VUZ\u00bb que significa nuevos veh\u00edculos de pasajeros), los ingenieros de \u0160koda optaron por un nuevo concepto de veh\u00edculo con motor trasero, tracci\u00f3n trasera y suspensi\u00f3n independiente. La denominaci\u00f3n 1000 MB hac\u00eda referencia a la cilindrada del motor y a la ubicaci\u00f3n de la sede de la marca \u2014MB representa Mlad\u00e1 Boleslav\u2014. Hubo varias variantes del 1000 MB, adem\u00e1s de la versi\u00f3n b\u00e1sica, a partir de 1966 hubo versiones m\u00e1s potentes y una versi\u00f3n de dos puertas denominada 1000 MBX.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22377\" alt=\"skoda 1000 MB -4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/skoda-1000-MB-4-1024x683.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El 1000 MB supuso una revoluci\u00f3n para \u0160koda en la primavera de 1964. Era un veh\u00edculo de cuatro puertas, med\u00eda 4,17 m de largo, 1,62 m de ancho y 1,39 m de altura. Una caracter\u00edstica de este modelo era que los asientos se pod\u00edan plegar individualmente. El maletero que estaba situado bajo el cap\u00f3 delantero ten\u00eda una capacidad de 220 litros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22379\" alt=\"skoda 1000 MB -6\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/skoda-1000-MB-6-1024x683.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El motor situado detr\u00e1s del eje trasero ten\u00eda cuatro cilindros y estaba refrigerado por agua. Su cilindrada era de 988 cc y desarrollaba una potencia m\u00e1xima de 37 CV. El 1000 MB alcanzaba una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 120 km\/h. En 1968, la potencia del motor se aument\u00f3 hasta los 43 CV de potencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22378\" alt=\"skoda 1000 MB -5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/skoda-1000-MB-5-1024x683.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u0160koda fue el primer fabricante europeo de autom\u00f3viles en utilizar aluminio moldeado en la producci\u00f3n del bloque del motor. La caja de cambios de cuatro velocidades tambi\u00e9n fue producida usando este m\u00e9todo de construcci\u00f3n. El 1000 MB ten\u00eda un peso de solo 755 Kg.<br \/>\nEl 1000 MB incorporaba novedades para la \u00e9poca como faros delantero circulares, pilotos traseros verticales o una luna trasera panor\u00e1mica. El dep\u00f3sito de combustible estaba situado en el guardabarros delantero derecho, escondido bajo el emblema de \u0160koda.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=830]<br \/>\nLa marca checa construy\u00f3 un nuevo edifico en Mlad\u00e1 Boleslav, muy cerca de la f\u00e1brica ya existente a principios de los a\u00f1os 60. Las nuevas instalaciones inclu\u00edan el equipamiento m\u00e1s moderno ubicado en un total de m\u00e1s de 40 naves de producci\u00f3n y otros edificios. Ten\u00edan hasta su propia planta de fundici\u00f3n.
