En el Sal\u00f3n del Autom\u00f3vil de Ginebra \u2014lugar escogido para la puesta en largo del modelo\u2014, SEAT ha presentado el \u00abPerformance Pack\u00bb que ha permitido a la nueva versi\u00f3n CUPRA, ser el modelo de tracci\u00f3n delantera que ha tardado menos tiempo, en dar una vuelta al trazado de Nordschleife.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22205\" alt=\"301\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/301-1024x683.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nEl circuito de N\u00fcrburgring en su trazado antiguo, Nordschleife, se ha convertido en la mejor pista de pruebas y sobre todo, es el lugar donde las marcas compiten con sus modelos de calle para demostrar al p\u00fablico que sus veh\u00edculos son los m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos. SEAT ha establecido un nuevo tiempo de referencia de 7:58.4 segundos. Con este tiempo, el CUPRA no s\u00f3lo es m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que el Renault M\u00e9gane RS Trophy con chasis Cup \u2014unos 10 segundos\u2014 sino que tambi\u00e9n bate a deportivos como el Porsche Cayman o el Alfa Romeo 4C.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=823]<br \/>\nPara conseguir el r\u00e9cord, SEAT utiliz\u00f3 el Le\u00f3n CUPRA 280, con cambio manual y el nuevo \u00abPerformance Pack\u00bb. Este paquete que es opcional incluye un sistema de frenos Brembo de altas prestaciones, llantas de aleaci\u00f3n de 19 pulgadas de dise\u00f1o especial y tambi\u00e9n la posibilidad de elegir neum\u00e1ticos deportivos Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 en medidas 235\/35. Este neum\u00e1tico es el m\u00e1s radical que ofrece Michelin, un neum\u00e1tico semi-slick cuya etiqueta energ\u00e9tica es E y la eficacia en mojado es C.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=822]<br \/>\nSentado al volante del Le\u00f3n CUPRA 280 estuvo el espa\u00f1ol Jordi Gen\u00e9, quien fue piloto oficial SEAT desde 2003 hasta 2010 participando en el Campeonato de Europa de Turismos (ETCC) y Campeonato del Mundo de Turismos (WTCC). Tambi\u00e9n ha formado parte del equipo de desarrollo del Le\u00f3n CUPRA en el circuito de N\u00fcrburgring.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22206\" alt=\"401\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/4011-1024x683.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan ha informado SEAT, el r\u00e9cord se obtuvo con la pista seca, con una temperatura exterior de 10\u00ba y una temperatura del asfalto de 8\u00ba. La velocidad media ha sido de 155 km\/h y ha alcanzado una velocidad m\u00e1xima de 242 km\/h en la secci\u00f3n Tiergarten del circuito. El modelo Le\u00f3n SC llevaba a la venta en nuestro pa\u00eds escasos 15 d\u00edas, por lo que sab\u00edamos que est\u00e1bamos ante un nuevo proyecto de la firma espa\u00f1ola, que a la postre, ser\u00eda el Le\u00f3n CUPRA que ha establecido el nuevo r\u00e9cord para modelos con tracci\u00f3n delantera.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Le\u00f3n Cup Racer<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-22207\" alt=\"501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/5012-1024x683.jpg\" width=\"614\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El nuevo Le\u00f3n CUPRA tambi\u00e9n constituye la base para el veh\u00edculo de competici\u00f3n presentado por SEAT en el Sal\u00f3n del Autom\u00f3vil de Ginebra. Se trata del nuevo <strong>Le\u00f3n Cup Racer<\/strong>, que ya est\u00e1 listo para su primera temporada en los circuitos europeos.
