Ahora y tras su presentaci\u00f3n en el Sal\u00f3n de Detroit os presentamos de manera oficial el WRX STI que tendr\u00e1 un motor de 2,5 litros y una potencia de 305 CV (especificaciones para el mercado norteamericano). Habr\u00e1 una versi\u00f3n especial de lanzamiento.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=753]<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nComo en el <a title=\"Subaru WRX, por fin conocemos su verdadera indentidad\" href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/\/20386\/subaru-wrx-por-fin-conocemos-su-verdadera-indentidad\/\">WRX<\/a>, la versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s radical de Subaru se desprende del apellido Impreza y recupera la tradicional carrocer\u00eda sed\u00e1n despu\u00e9s de que en la \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n estuviera disponible un Impreza WRX STI con carrocer\u00eda de 5 puertas. Las diferencias est\u00e9ticas respecto al WRX son escasas aunque muy evidentes: el aler\u00f3n posterior de gran tama\u00f1o, la insignia STI en la parrilla frontal y un nuevo dise\u00f1o de las llantas de aleaci\u00f3n de 18 pulgadas (con neum\u00e1ticos de medidas 245\/40).<br \/>\n[nggallery id=738]<br \/>\nLa mayor diferencia la encontramos en el motor ya que el nuevo WRX STI contin\u00faa utilizando el conocido motor B\u00f3xer de 2,5 litros de cilindrada y cuatro cilindros situados en posici\u00f3n opuesta en lugar del nuevo 2.0 Turbo. A pesar de ser el bloque motor de la anterior generaci\u00f3n, estrena un nuevo sistema de control de v\u00e1lvulas denominado AVCS y ofrece m\u00e1s potencia, 305 CV a 6000 rpm \u2014en la anterior generaci\u00f3n daba 301 CV\u2014 y tiene un par m\u00e1ximo de 290 Nm a 4000 rpm. No se han desvelado las prestaciones.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=737]<br \/>\nEl WRX STI tiene un cambio manual de 6 velocidades, Subaru indica que este cambio ha sido mejorado y es ahora m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que el del WRX. Como es norma de estos modelos, la tracci\u00f3n es a las cuatro ruedas AWD, tiene un diferencial central y sistema denominado DCCD que var\u00eda el reparto de par entre ambos ejes. En condiciones de adherencia \u00f3ptima, el par se distribuye 41:59 entre ambos ejes.<br \/>\nUna mayor distancia entre ejes, un chasis reforzado y m\u00e1s ligero gracias a la utilizaci\u00f3n de partes en aluminio, una direcci\u00f3n m\u00e1s precisa y unos frenos puestos a punto por Brembo son algunas de las caracter\u00edsticas del nuevo WRX STI. Tendr\u00e1 tres modos de conducci\u00f3n (Intelligent, Sport y Sport Sharp) seleccionables gracias al mando Si-Drive situado en la consola. Estos modos var\u00edan ciertos par\u00e1metros como la respuesta del motor.<br \/>\n[nggallery id=754]<br \/>\nEl interior tiene un aspecto deportivo en el que destaca la utilizaci\u00f3n de un volante con la parte inferior achatada, unos asientos deportivos (la anterior generaci\u00f3n ten\u00edan los reposacabezas integrados en los respaldos) tapizados en Alc\u00e1ntara, pedales y reposapi\u00e9s de aluminio, cuadro de instrumentos con iluminaci\u00f3n en rojo y una pantalla central multifunci\u00f3n en la que se puede visualizar por ejemplo el estado del turbo. Subaru indica que se han utilizado materiales con mayor calidad y un tacto m\u00e1s suave. Opcionalmente entre otros elementos estar\u00e1 disponible un sistema de navegaci\u00f3n con pantalla t\u00e1ctil a color de 6,1 pulgadas, conexi\u00f3n a Internet (para utilizar aplicaciones como Aha Radio) y sistema de sonido Harman\/Kardon dise\u00f1ado espec\u00edficamente para el WRX STI.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Subaru WRX STI Launch Edition<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>El modelo WRX STI comenzar\u00e1 a comercializarse en los EE.UU a partir de mediados del presente a\u00f1o.
