El fabricante espa\u00f1ol espera poner a la venta un modelo de similares caracter\u00edsticas en 2014.<br \/>\nCombina un motor el\u00e9ctrico con otro t\u00e9rmico. Seg\u00fan SEAT, en conducci\u00f3n urbana el motor el\u00e9ctrico\u00a0es el \u00fanico en funcionamiento (para no consumir carburante ni contaminar). Mientras tanto, en conducci\u00f3n interurbana el motor t\u00e9rmico servir\u00eda de apoyo al el\u00e9ctrico.<br \/>\nEl motor el\u00e9ctrico da una potencia sostenible de 35 kW y se alimenta de la energ\u00eda almacenada en una bater\u00eda de iones de litio. \u00danicamente con el motor el\u00e9ctrico en funcionamiento, el Le\u00f3n Twin Drive es capaz de alcanzar 100 km\/h (velocidad limitada).
