En\u00a0 esta poblaci\u00f3n naci\u00f3 Le Corbusier y <a title=\"Louis Chevrolet\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Louis_Chevrolet\">Louis Chevrolet<\/a>. Supongo que ya empez\u00e1is a atar cabos :). Hoy ha sido el primero de tres d\u00edas de presentaci\u00f3n en los que voy a conocer el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/chevrolet\/aveo\/2011\/chevrolet-aveo-precios.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aveo<\/a> con motor Diesel, el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/chevrolet\/cruze\/5p\/2011\/chevrolet-cruze-5p-precios.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cruze de cinco puertas<\/a>, el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/chevrolet\/camaro\/t01.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Camaro<\/a> y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/chevrolet\/volt\/2011\/voltec-motor-generador.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Volt<\/a>. Y es este \u00faltimo el que he podido conducir esta tarde.<br \/>\nEsta madrugada, cuando escrib\u00ed esta entrada, puse el siguiente p\u00e1rrafo:<br \/>\n\u00abEmpiezo por contaros que\u00a0 me han confirmado que, efectivamente, el motor de gasolina S\u00cd mueve las ruedas. Ya habl\u00e9 de esto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/engendro-mecanico\/\/2011\/08\/12\/opel-ampera-%C2%BFhibrido-o-electrico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>. Y tambi\u00e9n os cuento que el coche me ha gustado.\u00bb<br \/>\nEsta ma\u00f1ana he estado hablando esta ma\u00f1ana con Patrick Herrmann, responsable de los \u00abiconic cars\u00bb (modelos como el Corvette y el Volt). Me ha dicho lo contrario a lo que ayer me cont\u00f3 la Directora de Producto del Volt. Hemos estado hablando un buen rato, jugando sentados en el suelo del aparcamiento del hotel con un aro met\u00e1lico que usan para guardar todas las llaves, un botellin de agua y dos mandos simulando el funcionamiento del engranje planetario, pieza clave en el Volt para poder comprender c\u00f3mo opera. Lo que \u00e9l me ha dicho es que, aunque efectivamente el motor de gasolina est\u00e1 unido al generador y \u00e9ste a las ruedas a trav\u00e9s del planetario (esto ocurre cuando el nivel de carga de la bater\u00eda es muy bajo), el movimiento que transmite el motor t\u00e9rmico al engranaje no es capaz de mover las ruedas incluso en el hipot\u00e9tico caso (es algo que t\u00e9cnicamente no puede suceder, salvo por una aver\u00eda) en el que el motor el\u00e9ctrico no funcionase.<br \/>\nYo no estoy de acuerdo. El motor t\u00e9rmico ayuda parcialmente al el\u00e9ctrico cuando la bater\u00eda est\u00e1 descargada y se circula a una velocidad que no sea muy baja. En esa situaci\u00f3n, el motor\u00a0 t\u00e9rmico mueve el planeta mientras que el el\u00e9ctrico mueve la corona. Por tanto los dos contribuyen al movimiento de giro de los sat\u00e9lites y, por consecuencia,\u00a0 hacen girar al portasat\u00e9lites, impulsando a las ruedas. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/chevrolet\/volt\/2011\/voltec-motor-generador.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre esto en km77.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1715 aligncenter\" title=\"enfila\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/enfila.jpg\" alt=\"enfila\" width=\"700\" height=\"372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/enfila.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/enfila-480x255.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Me ha parecido muy interesante en general y a la vez un poco decepcionante en algunos aspectos.\u00a0 Muy interesante porque han dado con una soluci\u00f3n que ser\u00e1 muy satisfactoria dado que:<br \/>\n1.- Permite recorrer unos 60 km sin quemar un combustible. Sin hacer casi ruido. Sin producir vibraciones.<br \/>\n2.- Quien tenga que superar esa distancia no se quedar\u00e1 tirado ni necesitar\u00e1 tener el coche recargando durante varias horas. El motor de gasolina mueve un generador y da una autonom\u00eda de unos 500 km extra.<br \/>\n3.- Por lo anterior, es un coche v\u00e1lido como coche \u00fanico. Puedes usarlo a diario para ir a trabajar o te puedes ir de viaje como con cualquier otro coche.<br \/>\nLo que me ha decepcionado es que, en el fondo, no deja de ser una especie de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/00\/toyota\/prius\/2010\/t01.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toyota Prius<\/a> con una bater\u00eda de mucha m\u00e1s capacidad (cerca de 10 veces m\u00e1s). Funcionalmente no encuentro una diferencia sustancial. As\u00ed que la gran diferencia de precio entre uno y otro parece que es debida a la bater\u00eda (de iones de litio en vez de n\u00edquel e hidruro met\u00e1lico). Y digo parece porque es un suponer que no puedo confirmar. Adem\u00e1s, la habitabilidad y el maletero son inferiores a los del modelo de Toyota y, aunque los materiales de recubrimiento son mejores que los del Prius, hay algunas cosas un tanto cutres, como la tela que sirve para ocultar el equipaje y la pieza que hay entre las dos plazas traseras  (parece una soluci\u00f3n de \u00faltima hora).<br \/>\nHe grabado un v\u00eddeo en el que se ve el maletero, los asientos traseros y el cable de recarga, que est\u00e1 guardado bajo el piso del maletero (as\u00ed que para utilizarlo hay que sacar lo que llevemos en el maletero).
