Se denominan S 400 HYBRID (motor de gasolina de 306 CV y motor el\u00e9ctrico de 27 CV), S 300 BlueTEC HYBRID (motor Diesel de 204 CV y motor el\u00e9ctrico de 27 CV), S 350 BlueTEC (motor Diesel de 258 caballos) y S 500 (motor de gasolina de 455 CV). Dentro de unos meses que Mercedes-Benz no concreta, llegar\u00e1 una versi\u00f3n h\u00edbrida enchufable del S 500. Es el primer veh\u00edculo del mundo, seg\u00fan Mercedes-Benz, que no utiliza ni una sola de estas bombillas, tanto en el interior como el exterior. La iluminaci\u00f3n de la calzada, del veh\u00edculo, del habit\u00e1culo y del maletero se realiza mediante cerca de 500 diodos luminosos.
