Con ilusi\u00f3n y mucho esfuerzo empezamos a trabajar sobre el proyecto que iniciamos el a\u00f1o anterior. El objetivo era poner en marcha dos coches \u00abr\u00e1pidos\u00bb y un coche de asistencia r\u00e1pida. Los chasis estaban a punto, las carrocer\u00edas listas y las evoluciones preparadas para ser montadas y testadas, pero por una serie de circunstancias con los pilotos y patrocinadores nos obligaron a dejar aparcado el proyecto e intentar encontrar una opci\u00f3n segura para poder optar a los puestos de cabeza.<br \/>\nDespu\u00e9s de barajar var\u00edas opciones y estudiar las ventajas y desventajas de cada uno de los candidatos nos decantamos por la opci\u00f3n Mini. Estos coches han demostrado ser de los mejores veh\u00edculos para optar a la victoria por sus a\u00f1os de desarrollo y sus victorias en las dos \u00faltimas ediciones. Otra de las ventajas a tener en cuenta es que podremos luchar en las mismas condiciones que los que van a defender el t\u00edtulo de los a\u00f1os anteriores.<br \/>\nEl equipo X-Raid ha trabajado duro para construir un coche para nosotros en un tiempo r\u00e9cord. En poco m\u00e1s de una semana finalizaron su construcci\u00f3n. Toda una haza\u00f1a. Sin un equipo tan profesional como X-Raid no hubiera sido posible estar en la salida el d\u00eda 5 de Enero.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-457\" alt=\"dia1_dakar2014\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dia1_dakar2014.jpg\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" \/><!--more--><br \/>\nLos primeros kil\u00f3metros se hicieron por tierras Alemanas a unas temperaturas bastante diferentes a las que nos encontraremos en Argentina, 0\u00b0C. Pero la verdadera prueba de fuego fue el d\u00eda de a\u00f1o nuevo, donde tuvimos la primera toma de contacto con el coche y las pistas Argentinas. Todo el d\u00eda disfrutamos de las bondades y virtudes del Mini realizando unos peque\u00f1os ajustes para adaptar el coche al estilo de conducci\u00f3n de Nasser.<br \/>\nEs un cambio importarte en relaci\u00f3n a las \u00faltimas ediciones del Dakar en las que hemos participado. De un veh\u00edculo de dos ruedas motrices con motor gasolina pasamos a la antigua usanza: cuatro ruedas motrices con un motor diesel. Lo m\u00e1s impresionante es el paso por curva. Nada que ver con un dos ruedas motrices. Su potencia lineal te ayuda a reducir el tiempo que pasas entre curva y curva y su tracci\u00f3n integral te facilita el trabajo en las frenadas y las salidas de curva, puesto que las cuatro ruedas traccionan para ayudar a desplazar el veh\u00edculo sin perder ni un \u00e1pice de potencia al transmitirla al suelo.<br \/>\nCreo que la primera impresi\u00f3n ha sido positiva, pero lo que no tenemos que olvidar que la carrera que tenemos por delante no ha empezado a\u00fan y que lo m\u00e1s duro est\u00e1 por llegar. M\u00e1s de 9.000 km, por delante para hombres y m\u00e1quinas, que obligar\u00e1n a realizar una dosificaci\u00f3n del \u00edmpetu a los pilotos para llegar juntos al so\u00f1ado podio en Valparaiso.<br \/>\nEspero que disfrut\u00e9is de la carrera.
