El viaje fue duro y con alg\u00fan rato de turbulencias que no acompa\u00f1aban para estar relajados y conciliar el sue\u00f1o. Ayer tuvimos nuestro primer y \u00faltimo contacto con el Volkswagen Touareg en tierras argentinas antes de empezar la carrera. Hicimos un buen pu\u00f1ado de kil\u00f3metros para comprobar que todo estuviera en su sitio despu\u00e9s del viaje y as\u00ed poder verificar todos los instrumentos del veh\u00edculo (posici\u00f3n de asiento, ajuste de los cinturones, GPS&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Estos \u00faltimos d\u00edas la meteorolog\u00eda no est\u00e1 respetando mucho el verano argentino. El d\u00eda empieza con sol y nubes bajas, que se van agrupando hasta provocar tormentas tropicales que est\u00e1n dando verdaderos dolores de cabeza a los gobiernos y al organizador de la carrera. Tal est\u00e1 la cosa que se rumorea que la especial n\u00famero siete se podr\u00eda dividir dos partes por el peligro de inundaciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"lucas-cruz-dakar-2010-02\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/lucas-cruz-dakar-2010-02B.jpg\" alt=\"Lucas Cruz. Dakar 2010. 02\" width=\"700\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Ayer la ma\u00f1ana empezaba tranquila y soleada. Nos respet\u00f3 el test, pero posteriormente nos \u201cayud\u00f3\u201d a limpiar los coches. Cay\u00f3 una tromba de agua incre\u00edble. Ahora comienzo a entender c\u00f3mo es que esta \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o los campos y los jardines de Buenos Aires y sus alrededores est\u00e1n tan verdes, da gusto pasear por ellos. Creo que si la carrera es ya de por s\u00ed complicada y dura, la lluvia le va a dar un punto m\u00e1s de emoci\u00f3n y dificultad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">En cambio, el centro de la ciudad es un ir y venir de gente que corre de un lado hacia otro, que hace largas colas para subirse al autob\u00fas en las horas punta. La circulaci\u00f3n por la ciudad es bastante complicada y, en seg\u00fan qu\u00e9 lugares, ca\u00f3tica. La gente destaca por su amabilidad y su simpat\u00eda, algo que es de agradecer por un forastero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">La cena tambi\u00e9n dio que hablar. Nos fuimos algunos de los miembros del equipo a cenar a un t\u00edpico restaurante (argentino, como no) en una zona emblem\u00e1tica de la ciudad, Puerto Madero. Lugar que se encuentra justo detr\u00e1s de La Plaza de Mayo, a orillas de la confluencia del Rio de la Plata y el Mar Argentino. Es una zona portuaria remodelada, donde, cuentan los ancianos del lugar, era el puerto en el que desembarcaban los \u00abgallegos\u00bb que ven\u00edan en busca de trabajo y un futuro mejor. El tango, las patatas asadas y la carne a la parrilla nos hicieron de anfitriones. \u00a1C\u00f3mo nos vamos a acordar de estos platos tan exquisitos durante la carrera!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">La cuenta atr\u00e1s ya est\u00e1 en marcha y el revisor del tren va acomodando a los pasajeros antes de partir hacia el norte. Para que os hag\u00e1is una idea de la tormenta, os mando unas fotos que ilustran el momento. Las improvisadas zapatillas impermeables de Nasser no tienen desperdicio. Cabe decir que las zapatillas que utilizamos para competir son de una suela muy fina. Esto tiene ventajas e inconvenientes. Tienes mayor tacto para accionar los pedales y mayor sensibilidad para dosificar la fuerza en el freno y el acelerador, pero, por otro lado, te clavas todas las piedras del suelo y se empapan s\u00f3lo con estar el suelo h\u00famedo. Luego siempre te queda la temperatura del habit\u00e1culo del coche para poder secarlas, que es como estar dentro de una secadora dom\u00e9stica sin el programa de ropa delicada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18 aligncenter\" title=\"lucas-cruz-dakar-2010-01\" src=\"https:\/\/www.km77.com\/revista\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/lucas-cruz-dakar-2010-01B.jpg\" alt=\"Lucas Cruz.
