No, no era un problema m\u00e1s. Era un problema nuevo. Un problema de mates. Un problema como los que a m\u00ed me gustan. Un problema sin pistas, un problema que te obliga a pensar, al menos a m\u00ed, con mi cerebro apolillado.<\/p>\n<p>El <a title=\"Gaussianos. Problema. Amigos en una fiesta.\" href=\"http:\/\/gaussianos.com\/amigos-en-una-fiesta\/\">problema lo han presentado en el blog gaussianos<\/a>. Lo copio aqu\u00ed, para que lo disfruten:<\/p>\n<p><em>Demostrar que en toda fiesta con n&gt;=2 (n mayor o igual a 2) personas hay al menos dos de ellas que poseen la misma cantidad de amigos.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>(Aclaraciones: Se entiende que estamos hablando de relaciones de amistad entre los asistentes a la fiesta y se asume que ninguna persona se cuenta a s\u00ed misma como amigo.)<\/p>\n<p>He le\u00eddo el problema y he tuiteado que habr\u00eda que resolverlo por reducci\u00f3n al absurdo, medio en broma medio por reto.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>No tengo ni idea de c\u00f3mo resolverlo y he pensado en servirme de papel y bol\u00edgrafo (recado de escribir), para pensar. Me he sorprendido. \u00bfCu\u00e1nto tiempo llevaba sin utilizar papel y l\u00e1piz para pensar? \u00bfDesde la carrera? Llevo much\u00edsimo tiempo que s\u00f3lo pienso en el vac\u00edo, en la ducha, en la moto, en el coche, por la escalera, en el ascensor, por la calle o delante de un ordenador, escribiendo.<\/p>\n<p>No he hecho mates en serio desde que dej\u00e9 la carrera de ingenier\u00eda. Repas\u00e9 mates cuando estudi\u00e9 econ\u00f3micas, pero no necesitaba mucho esfuerzo. Casi ni lo recuerdo. Desde entonces, no me he enfrentado a las matem\u00e1ticas. Recuerdo ahora los ex\u00e1menes con integrales triples, que me cabreaban, porque me enfadaba tener que resolver la integral. Lo \u00fanico que me parec\u00eda interesante era plantearla. Una vez planteada, resolverla era una estupidez.<\/p>\n<p>Pero sobre todo me acuerdo de mi frustraci\u00f3n y rabia en clase. El profesor pon\u00eda un teorema en la pizarra y a continuaci\u00f3n se pon\u00eda a demostrarlo, sin darnos tiempo a los alumnos a pensar c\u00f3mo demostrarlo. Las demostraciones fueron mi frustraci\u00f3n durante la carrera. Y lo peor es que entonces no me daba cuenta. No sab\u00eda expresarlo. Me he dado cuenta muchos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s. El profesor te plantaba la demostraci\u00f3n en la cara como un triunfo, como una necesidad imperiosa para dar consistencia a todo el entramado que nos explicaba. Yo me mor\u00eda de desesperaci\u00f3n. No quer\u00eda que me demostraran nada, quer\u00eda que me dejaran pensar, que me dejaran jugar. Que me dieran al menos 24 horas para darle vueltas a c\u00f3mo resolver ese teorema. Nunca ocurri\u00f3. Y ni siquiera me daba cuenta de qu\u00e9 era lo que me molestaba tanto.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy, siglos despu\u00e9s, me encuentro con la necesidad de demostrar un teorema aparentemente simple y no s\u00e9 ni por d\u00f3nde enfocarlo. Pero no quiero que me den la respuesta. Quiero que me den mi tiempo, papel y boli. Para pensar.
